Was sent to the upstairs to get registered. The lady on the desk said my health card is expired and the cannot see me. I registered online from my phone and service ontario send a temporary code to be used with my expired card. I guess she does not know that and it was a waste of my time and no money for them. Its says in the email: Note: Please retain this record of your online health card renewal. You must provide a printed copy of this health card renewal transaction receipt to your health care provider along with your current health card until your new card is delivered.
For all the negative reviews from people who walk in to this clinic with no appointment and expect a red carpet to be laid out for them. It seems people can get quite sour when they walk in expecting a specific outcome, or to be given "painkillers" and sent on their way. That's not how our healthcare works thankfully. For any newcomers to the country or clinic do not expect the receptionists or doctors to drop everything they are doing to cater to you the minute you walk in. I have been coming to this clinic for a few years now and can honestly say, from experience, that if you understand respect and politeness you will be in kind. Reception is very friendly despite some of the other reviews and doctor Doctor is caring and does not rush you out of the clinic as I've experienced in the past with others. Lastly, keep in mind that you are not the only patient attending this clinic and the world does not revolve around you. Be kind and patient. Clinics also have to close sometimes. Doctors and staff have lives outside of their work. They experience emergencies just like any other human and weather does play a role here. We are in Canada. Bad storms happen and I wouldn't expect any doctor or clinic stuff to put themselves in danger just to treat a sore thumb. 5 stars well deserved and highly recommend. Thank you to the doctors and staff!
I recently visited it and wanted to share my experience regarding the front desk staff. Unfortunately, I found the attitude of the front desk girl to be less than welcoming. When I arrived, I felt that she was not very attentive or friendly, which made the check-in process a bit uncomfortable. In a healthcare setting, it’s crucial for the front desk staff to be warm and accommodating, as they are often the first point of contact for patients. A positive attitude can significantly impact a patient’s experience, and I believe improvements in this area could enhance the overall atmosphere of the clinic. I hope that management can address this issue to ensure that all patients feel valued and respected upon their arrival.
I just wish they could keep to their appointment times a little better. Every time I go for an appointment, I arrive 5 minutes before the appointment and then wait for 30 minutes to be seen.
If I could give 0 stars I would, you guys need to be put out of business, DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS THEY WILL NOT DIAGNOSE YOU PROPERLY. They will give you medication that will only make it worse. This is from first hand experience and also recently for my friend who went. AVOID AVOID AVOID
I had a male doctor a while ago and I went to show some irritation/redness and bumpiness under my chin. He kept demanding to ask “what did u do to make it start? Or what started it” and I told him it just randomly appeared as my skin care routine had been the same since highschool and my diet was the same as well so there were no unusual differences that would’ve made this reaction occur. He prescribed me taro-Clobetasol and said I can give u this but I can’t help if u don’t tell me what started it, as if I didn’t explain alr tht it started randomly. Turns out this guy has no basic knowldge of considering health factors, he prescribed me a the strongest corticosteroid cream which when in reality he should’ve told me I have perioral dermatitis and should’ve put me on antibiotics or another milder cream for the actual condition. Do yourself a favour go somewhere where they actually consider all of ur factors instead of trying to get rid of u and clear the line.
