Thank you so much for all of the care you gave to my Texas rescue, Maple. Kim, the owner, helped me outfit her with a great harness and assisted me bathing her by distracting her with treats and kind words. What a heart of gold she has by taking the time out of her busy day to lend a helping hand. I am beyond appreciative and thankful. This store is clean, well-stocked and it was easy to find parking. My absolute favourite Pet Valu location. The employees are super nice & also know their stuff! I'd been struggling to find the right diet for my senior dog ever since he started having digestive issues and Nicole's recommendations really helped him out:)
I recently brought my dog in for a grooming and had a great experience! Parnia was very friendly and helpful. I gave her free reign to cut the dog how she saw fit and she did an excellent job! When I picked my dog up he looked silky and smooth! Would definitely recommend.
Brown girl in the front was very sweet and super helpful... Unfortunately did not get her name. She was very knowledgeable and helped me figure out the best dog food for my shepherd.
I will never go back to this store ever again so long as the East Indian lady who worked at the front desk on Tuesday July 25th 2023 at 3pm is not there. She was extremely rude to me ! She rudely told me there weren't any cats in the cage for adoption, and watched me like a hawk in the store as if I was going to steal something. Which I ended up buying something actually . I got the impression as if I was an annoyance to her. I love my cat, I love animals, I love buying things for my cat from the store and I was in a happy mood until it took this one person to ruin my time. She should focus on being more positive instead of being miserable to customers.
Whether we visit the store in person or use their extremely convenient local delivery service we always get the exact products we need along with great advice when needed. Both the friendly people and resident pets there are an added bonus :)
This is a very clean store. There are a lot of very nice displays. Unfortunately too often I go to this location and they do not have what I'm looking for in terms of food or vitamins etc. for my dogs. I am repeatedly told they stock on Thursdays and to come back. This leads me to believe they're not ordering enough of what is being sold and that is a shame because it always pushes me to go to another store.
