I couldn't give the owners any less than a 5 star Review. These people bend over backwards to bring in the food that l like to feed my dog. So helpful and hospitable. Nothing's ever a problem. A pleasure to give them my business! Thank you.
This employee on the phone was so rude and made snide remarks on several occasions when my boyfriend and I would call with an inquiry. I don’t even want to visit this location
I’ve been coming to this store for many years, but after today I might not come back. If you have a reactive dog, do NOT take them to this store. My corgi Rex and I approached and opened the door, which BY THE WAY has a big sign that says “leashed dogs welcome”, and this little Daschund comes pelting to the door growling and barking at the very stunned pair of us. So much for “leashed dogs only”… that dog is lucky that Rex is not reactive to something like that or it would have been an instant fight. The owner came over and picked up the still growling Dashchund, said “thanks” (for what, I’m not sure), as we entered. No apology made, the two just walked off, and I realized the owner is a staff member, if not the owner/franchisee. If I hadn’t been so stunned, I would have just closed the door in the pup’s face and walked away. In hindsight I wish I did, but we left without getting Rex the treat I told him we’d get, and we likely won’t be returning to that store anytime soon. I know accidents happen, I know this could have been some sort of mistake. But zero apology, and a staff member bringing a dog to work who clearly cannot handle being in a public environment, especially off leash which is against the store’s own policy. It’s not worth the risk to my dog and myself. So long, Global Clarkson Village, it was fun while it lasted.
Stopped at this store when I was passing by. The staff was so nice! And helpful! I am making this my one stop shop even if I have to drive a little further.
A++ I’ve been an avid pet owner for about 2 years and I go nowhere else but global pet foods . The staff is amazing , I have been to other pet shops and their selection is not as good as clarkson village. Friendly staff
I visited Global Pet Foods to pick up with a few things for my dog. The staff there were very helpful and quite knowledgeable as not only did they answer my questions, but went above and beyond to provide useful suggestions.
I have to say this is my favourite pet store. The staff are always so friendly, helpful and efficient. When I was pregnant they wouldn't let me lift anything and brought stuff to my car. If they don't have the food I want in they order it for me. If I ever have questions or need advice they always help me. I wish they could train the rest of the retail world on how to be. They are absolutely amazing!
