The best pet store! A little hidden gem. Great products and very friendly owners. My go-to for treats and toys but they also have a great food selection!

My family and I have been going to M & J Happy Pets for a little over three years now and each time has been great! The place where I got my little bichon frise x toy poodle mix, Keane, actually recommended the place along with three other stores also selling the kibble my dog eats. They told me to check this place out as it was my first time owning a dog and I’m so glad I did. This place did not disappoint and I quickly fell in love with the homey atmosphere and environment it was surrounded by. Every time I’ve gone, Josie has always been super welcoming, delightful to talk to, and extremely helpful. She gave me so much insight to owning a dog, and a puppy no less, along with great product recommendations that seem genuine rather than robotic and mandated in order to sell. Plus, my dad usually picks up my dog’s food for me, and with Josie’s help, he has no problem grabbing and going. I love M & J Happy Pets due to it’s convenience, I am able to grab toys, jackets, booties, grooming supplies, and other necessities along with my dog’s food which I can’t find at PetValu, Petsmart, or chain grocery stores!

Been going to M & J Happy Pet Store for last couple of years now, and they are the best ! Always very accommodating and very knowledgeable and helpful - a must for all Pet lovers. Unfortunately can give them only 5 Stars, they deserve much more - Outstanding and friendly service always.
Wow...came here in search of a small non-big box store for pets.We met Josie and Ollie today and now I know what everyone is talking about.Josie is amazing. She is in the business because she cares about animals, the welfare and health of them. She personally investigates and evaluates the products she sells (being a mom to several dogs herself).In many cases, if she doesn't have it and a customer wants it; she will look for it for you. If it's something that she believes others will want and good for other pets, she'll obtain limited stock for others to try.Food wise? So many high quality goods that puts BBuffalo to shame. (Ask her about BB and if you're a fan...you will be wowed at some me of the superior foods in the store)The store is an experience and one done out of love. I will definitely come back to visit (and get some more unique items for my little ones).

I came to this store upon recommendation from a friend and spoke to Josie, she recommended a nutritious dry food that my dog absolutely loves! If youre having trouble finding the correct supplies for your pet, Josie and her staff will help you.
This pet store is absolutely amazing and I recommend it all the time! Josie (the owner) is such an amazing person and has so much love for animals. She greets you with a smile and is always very helpful which is a pure joy going to her store to buy food for my fur babies. She has the best selection of food! Once you step into this store, you won't go anywhere else.

Definitely a happy pet store. We discovered the store because they carry the brand "Healthy Extensions" for our new puppy. The store owner was fantastic, she greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel at home. She truly has the love and passion for animal care. She assisted us with recommendations and choosing the right products to better care for our new puppy. Prices are a bit pricey but the quality and service is top of the line.
