Simply a 1 star for not answering their phones!!!! We leave messages and call repeatedly but can I SPEAK TO SOMEONE? Nope! Terrible way to run a medical business!
The office staff at Apple Hills are now very good and very helpful. Yes, a few years ago some of the office staff extremely unhelpful, but now they are great. Also the clinics telephone service has improved 200% in the last few years. As part of the Summerville group practice there is a daily after hours clinic for urgent/ semi-urgent care. The wait times to see your FMD may look long on the booking system, but a telephone consultation is often prompt, and I have been "fit in" to see my GP quickly. And there is the daily after hours clinic. Finally, there is a indepth virtual educational program on various topics and conditions related to health. This group sends out regular surveys for the patients feedback. Seeing how much this clinic has grown and adapted to the needs of their patients over the years, I know that the feedback from patients has been taken to heart and acted upon. I would, and do recommend this clinic.
Love this pharmacy. I especially love the way the pharmacists take the time explain things to me and make me feel comfortable with any new medication i am taking. I have a hard time with medical professionals and the pharmacists here make me feel good, safe and heard. -Grace Hanley
We asked for help and because both the doctor of my husband were away. I mentioned that my husband just needs guidance on what to do because something seems to be reversing the effect of one of his medicine. The nurse practitioner, Tara Jagt called. A very judgemental person! Even called him a heroine addict and that she will not help him. Do you, Tara, read his chart that he has anxiety and depression huh And have episodes of panic attack?! Instead of giving him guidance, you triggered his anxiety more. Just say you don't know how to help him, you don't need to insult him!!!! Hoping for an assurance from a place we know and this is what we get.
So sorry to hear Dr. Meharchand is leaving Apple Hill Clinic. My husband and I were Dr. Miller’s patients at Apple Hills prior to Dr. Meharchand taking over his practice and are thankful to the staff and especially Dr. Meharchand for the great care we received over the years. Told me to visit walkins instead of letting me book in person, then months later called to tell me I was removed from roster because I hadn’t gone in person in too long. Don’t trust this scam of a place
Update. My in laws have changed doctors offices and are struggling to move their files over. They refuse to send the files to the new doctor. They have filed a complaint to the CPSO and now lawyers might get involved. Again I stress to stay away from the doctors office at all costs, they are breaking laws and are violating people’s rights. Don't even bother with this place. Ever since doctor Gitterman left it's been a total nightmare, they rarely even answer the phones, staff is usually rude and unhelpful and the assistant manager Toni is on a whole other level of rudeness. If you express your frustrations she literally YELLS at you, it's unbelievable. And if you actually do get through to the office good luck getting an appointment anytime soon, maybe 2 months if you're lucky.
