we needed a wardrobe and had specific requirements. We found an Article wardrobe we loved, but thought it was a bit out of our price range. After some scouring we found The Furniture Shop has the exact Article wardrobe we wanted at a much better price. They were so kind about scheduling shipping and the guys brought it all the way to the third floor for us. It was truly a wonderful experience and we are so pleased. I’ve had amazing experiences with this store. I’ve found gorgeous pieces heavily discounted from retail cost. I am always looking what they have as they get new items very often.
I found The Furniture Shop after searching for a specific item and decided to visit the store in person. My first experience was during their Blue Jays sale, where I purchased a couch and a TV unit at about 60% off their online retail prices. The couch was new in the box and had a small stain that the staff removed. The TV console was also new, though it came with an inner shelf that didn’t fit, which likely explains the discount. After looking through their online store, it’s clear that some items may have minor damage, so I recommend seeing products in person since the descriptions aren’t always exact. I was happy with my purchases and returned for their Boxing Day sale, where I bought a rug at a great price. Overall, the store offers solid products at a fraction of the cost. Just keep in mind that items may not be perfectly “brand new,” and you should be comfortable accepting small imperfections in exchange for the discount. If that works for you, this place is great. If you can’t accept this, I would not bother.
Monica and Daniel are the best. We bought a mattress which is our favourite brand. I had to come from far away. They gave all information about it, applied black friday sale. We are in love with our new Noa mattress.
I wanted to buy rove lab couch but am not sure if I'm going to like it as there are mixed reviews about the product. I was browsing for the couch on fb marketplace and found the Furniture Shop. Was skeptical at first so I decided to visit the showroom. Christina showed me the rove lab couch they had on display and I get to try on a couple of others. All purchase are final sale so make sure you do actually satisfied with the products before purchasing it.
My husband and I purchased a dresser that included both a console and drawers, exactly as advertised on Facebook Marketplace. But when the delivery arrived, they brought only the console. When we called, the staff told us we needed to pay a $60 exchange fee, even though the mistake was clearly theirs. One staff member even lied and said that the salesperson who originally helped us had quit, which turned out to be completely untrue. Another staff member spoke to me very rudely, told me I had to wait one week to speak to the owner, and even mentioned checking security footage — which felt intimidating and incredibly unprofessional. Eventually, after multiple calls, they agreed to waive the fee and sent the correct item. But no one apologized for any of the misinformation or stress they caused. The only person who communicated properly was Daniel. He told me the staff members who lied to me would call to apologize, but I never received any apology call, proving again how poorly this place handles customers. This store urgently needs to improve customer-service training and accountability. The experience was stressful, misleading, and extremely disappointing.
Bought a king size bed from here and when it was delivered not all the pieces were delivered. Despite emails and calls they still have not found the missing pieces nor refunded my money! I have bits and pieces of a king bed sitting in my garage taking up space!
