I wish I could put up a 0 if I could I visited today and to exchange something that I bought on black friday at sherway gardens location but had no time to try it on cause it was so busy the service there was amazing today I visited square one for exchanging the items I had the receipt and everything was treated so poorly by the manager oksana I think thats her name she was absolutely rude and kept asking me is this your item like I have the receipt and was trying to accuse me of stealing of something I mean I spent 250 dollars the staff was really nice that helped me but the manager was horrible please learn to respect your customer idk what her problem was but I felt targeted idk if it was my skin color she had a problem of or what but never going back to square one dynamite again ruined my whole experience please everyone would recommend going to sherway gardens location cause this type of behaviour should not have been implemented.
had such an amazing experience at the store today! Serena was absolutely amazing!! She helped me find the perfect pair of pants , showed me so many styles and had so much patience to keep showing me more lol She was so kind!! I don’t write reviews but this girl needed a shout out!
Coleen was amazing! She helped me pick out like three outfits and styled everything so well. She really knew what worked and gave great suggestions. Super kind, easy to talk to, and just genuinely helpful. Next time you need an outfit just ask for Coleen she just gets it. Thanks girl!!<3
If there would be a zero star, it would be for the customer service at this location. We went there on Thursday june 5 at 8:40pm. We were looking for a shirt that was on table and was trying to find the size. The aggressive women came and didn’t let us check it. She said,” i have cleaned the table right noe, and what size you want” she didn’t check and said we don’t have it in such a aggressive rude tone. She eye rolled us completely disrespectful. We didn’t purchase anything because of her. Both the ladies working there were extremely unprofessional. Really disappointed. Never visiting this store again.
Every time I shop at this location, the staff look unfriendly and unwilling to help. They seem dis interested in customers and more concerned about gossiping with each other. Yesterday my cashier had a whole conversation with another employee without even acknowledging my existence while cashing me out. No hello or anything. I get its busy season but what’s your excuse when the store is literally empty? I just order online or go to sherway gardens. Their customer service at sherway is top notch. Square one on the other hand lacks everything.
I’ve been shopping at Dynamite and Square One for over 12 years now. I’ve never written a review about an unpleasant experience at a store, however, I decided to today because I had an extremely negative experience and will not be shopping here again. I would rather drive further to another store than to shop at the square one location again. It was about 6:15pm, Monday 18th November 2024. I walked into the store to exchange a pair of shorts I ordered online because they were a size too big for me. Please not the item was “final sale”, however, about a month ago I was told by an employee at this store that Final Sale items can be exchanged / returned if they have been ordered online. Knowing this, I went in to exchange the shorts for a smaller size. Upon arriving at the store and desk, I asked to exchange the item. The manager was serving me and stated that the item could not be exchanged because it was final sale. I told her what I have been told by an employee at the same store before. She took accountability and apologized, which I appreciated. I said I would not be here if I hadn’t been told by an employee that I could do so. Nonetheless, I was advised to call customer service. I called them and they agreed to make an exception once to allow me to exchange the item. I went back to the store with the reference number and asked for the exchange. Upon doing so, the manager informed me that I had to exchange from the items within the store. All I wanted was to get a smaller size for the shorts I bought online. To be honest, it’s $21 and not the end of the world. And I understand company policy. Moving forward I will not order online knowing that I cannot exchange / return final sale items. I take ownership of this. What is upsetting and extremely disappointing as a long standing customer or Dynamite is the misinformation from employees to customers. I left the store and called customer service again explaining that all I wanted was the shorts in a smaller size - I was even willing to give back the ones I had to the store if customer service online could just order me a pair in the size I wanted. I was informed they wouldn’t do that. It’s $21, not a big deal. The manager said “you do not like what I am offering.” I said I was hearing what she was saying, but she was asking me to buy an item from within the store I did not want. To me it’s about the principle. Should this have been the case, I wouldn’t have been able to exchange items before. I will not be shopping at this Dynamite location again. It is my responsibility as a customer to read the policy, I should not have taken the word of an employee before - I can hold myself accountable for this. What I would have liked is for the team at Dynamite to understand is that I had a simple ask. That turned into something way bigger and more complicated. I have asked to be contacted by management from customer service. Hoping for them to provide some support that makes me want to shop here again. I really like their items, and in the past have had great experiences. The policy is valid and true. I take the word of employees because I expect them to be knowledge holders. Unfortunately, not at Dynamite Square One.
I love this brand. Genuinely. This brand is probably one of the only places that carry jeans for tall girlies with thick thighs. I don’t always love the quality of some of their seasonal styles, but I love coming back to this location particularly because the staff are so sweet. The ladies that work at this location are always so friendly and very helpful. They take the time to help you find what you’re looking for and give you plenty of alternatives.
