MY DOG ALMOST DIED AT THIS GROOMER-PLEASE READ VERY IMPORTANT- I have vet emergency receipts, lawyer documentations, small claims court document as proof. The only reason there is one star is because I can't post here without hitting a star. I took my 4yr old dog Cyrus (Bernadoodle) to this groomer. I read the reviews on here and requested Tasha/Natasha which was the biggest mistake of my life. I dropped off my healthy happy dog and within 2hrs the receptionist called me and told me to pick up Cyrus because he was super anxious and that he "fell" off the table and broke the handle. I rushed over there within 5 mins and when I picked him up he was gasping for air. I asked to speak to Tasha and she did not want to talk to me until I insisted and finally she came to talk to me and told me that he jumped of the table. I rushed my boy to the Emergency Vet as soon as I left the groomers (around 2:45pm). Once I got there they put him in an oxygen tank right away and then told me to call the groomers to see what happened so they can treat him without guessing. I called scruff and ruff asked to speak to the manager or Tasha and no one would talk to me. I called again and Melanie (the owner) told the receptionist that I should have not taken Cyrus to the emergency because he would calm down within 3 hours. At one point we had to say our good-bye to Cyrus because he was going into CARDIAC arrest. A miracle happened and they stabilized him, The Vets said if we did not bring him in right away he would have died. After x-rays, ultrasounds and lots of treatment to him to survive he ended up with Strangulation, very low oxygen, very high temperature, Trauma to the chest (which caused an enlarged heart) and fluid in his lungs and bleeding in one of his eyes. Once they stabilized him at 3am he was monitored until they moved him to Mississauga Oakville Emergency Hospital to see the Cardiologist because once again he was going into cardiac arrest. He spent two nights in Emergency and it took him more than 8 weeks to recover. He was on heart medication and pain medication to get him through it. He is now traumatized and is afraid of any loud noises including grooming tools. We had lawyers send out emails to the owner and she ignored every single letter, phone call until we took her to small claims court. We finally got it settled in court but up to this day Melanie or Tasha never reached out to us to apologize, follow up on our dog or acknowledged the trauma they put my dog through and our family. Please trust me and do not take your dog there. As I said it is a miracle he is alive today a healthy happy pup turned into a scared traumatized pup with injuries that he can not get over all because of one grooming appointment.
I have been bringing my dogs to Natasha for quite some time and pass several groomers on the way to her from North Oakville. She is an absolute gem! The dogs always look, smell and feel amazing after their groom. She is talented and creative, but more than that, she has a calming aura that goes a long way with anxiety and nervousness. She is the most lovely human with a personality like sunshine. I rarely recommend anyone but needed to let you all know how awesome she is with my girls! ❤️

The best groomer I've ever been to. I can't bathe my dog without her biting me badly. I can't believe Maria is able to groom her with no issue, and even no muzzle. Very thankful. Maria has a special touch.
Tasha does such an amazing job - you can tell she really loves dogs. She’s been grooming our boy for a couple of years now and without fail she does an amazing job, always asks what we want done, and is so accommodating.
After experiencing poor care on my dogs paw many times. I decided to try scruff & ruff I'm so glad I did Sanja did such an amazing job on my dog I'm very pleased and I will keep going to Scruff & Ruff Sanja I hope you see this post my dog is Carlee
Awesome grooming on all 4 of my dogs. From big huskies to small breed Bichon , the grooming has been wonderful. Also I really appreciate that when my dogs got skunked she was immediately available for deskunk baths !!! Thanks so much. Will be back often !
