Ana is always awesome with our dog!! She’s time efficient, thorough and friendly. We do full grooming of our full size golden doodle with her. She is by far the best groomer we’ve found in the Mississauga area. Great attention to detail on cutting around the toe pads, ears and tail. Our dog comes back clean, gorgeous and happy every time!
I would give zero stars if I could. My dog experienced severe anxiety and trauma after his grooming session. Although he's been shaved before, this was not his first time. The grooming was rushed, completed in under an hour, and left him shaking with fear. Despite my arrival within 15 minutes of the appointment’s end, the groomer left him with Pet Value staff, showing a lack of respect and professionalism. My dog became ill, refused to eat, and was extremely itchy had to be taken to vet as he was shaking with fear for 5 days. The vet said the groomer rushed it so fast that she gave him razor burns and he was itchy and scared and shivering . It’s clear the groomer was more focused on moving on to the next appointment than on providing proper care. She rushed it and made him sick so she could get another dog asap and make more money. They seem to prioritize profit over the well-being of pets. This experience was deeply disappointing and concerning. Don’t send your pups to Anna she will make them very sick
Great groomer, great with my dogs, terrible communicator. Multiple reschedules, long periods with no response to requests to book. It took me a week to slowly surmise that Ana only works Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Not a problem, but, just let me know. Previously I had asked about either July 15th, 16th or 17th, a day later she says "umm.... I don't usually work those days..." I ask about the 14th, she responds a day later saying "is the 14th a Sunday?" I assume she may have been busy and didn't want to look at a calendar, I don't respond, wait a day and text "Hi... just following up, which dates work for you between July 10th - 18th?" She says "I don't work on Sundays :(" I mean, it's an exercise in futility trying to support this woman's business. Also, when my dog needed mats shaved off in the spring (a few under her armpits which got worse because Ana rescheduled twice) - Ana seemed perturbed about it despite me offering to pay extra or reschedule or do whatever she suggested, plus, I always tip well. She suggested that I brush her more often, I explained that she won't let me, that's why I wanted to find a dog groomer... Sometimes Ana is very friendly and happy and other times she's stressed out, curt or completely unresponsive by text. Trying to book is like pulling teeth and It seems she doesn't want or need my business so unfortunately I have to try to find someone else which sucks because my dogs are comfortable with her now and she's good at the technical side of her job.
Our 10yr old German Shepherd is a nervous and anxious dog and has bad experiences with other groomers. This is not what happened with Anna. She took her time with our Luna to make her comfortable and did an amazing job. The feedback Anna gave us about Luna’s ears and nails was helpful and no other groomer took the time to let us know these things but Anna did. I’m going to be scheduling a follow up appointment for her nails already!!
Ana at Petaza did a fantastic job grooming out golden doodle! She listened to what I wanted for him & she gave us EXACTLY what we wanted. Thank you Ana for doing just a great job on our dog and we will definitely be back and tell everyone about you!!
