I had a terrible experience at Honey Store. I bought a dress that was very expensive, and only after purchasing it did they tell me “exchange only.” . When I tried to return it, they said they couldn’t do anything and forced me to buy something else just so my money wouldn’t go to waste. Everything in the store is overpriced, and I ended up spending even more money for no reason. The staff didn’t seem helpful at all, and the whole experience was extremely frustrating. Never going back again. Worst experience ever.
This place is a hidden gem! So glad we were referred here. When we turned the corner in the mall and saw all the dresses, just GORGEOUS! We went on a Monday night. The staff were amazing! The girl that helped us was so attentive to what my daughter needed. We had dozens of dresses, the choices were unlimited. She made us feel very comfortable. She was super friendly and thoroughly enjoyed her job! We highly recommend this spot for that special dress. To be honest, I can't believe the low ratings listed. We definitely didn't share the same experience that others posted. We will definitely be back!
I had a very disappointing experience at this store. The staff were extremely rude and ignorant, making me feel as if I didn’t belong there. Instead of offering help or basic courtesy, they were talking about customers behind their backs — which is completely unprofessional and unacceptable in today’s time. No customer should ever be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected when they walk into a store.
I think staff need more training here. I was waiting for a change room and they said they would get me in once one became available. I saw someone leave, staff aware but forgot about me and only when I asked to use the empty room did they react. The employee did not bring my items I had on rack in, did not even remove the previous clothes from the last customer trying things on. Then when I paid for my dress they forgot to take off the security tag. Luckily, I was going to another store, and it set off alarm, so I knew to check and go back. I had to run back because by this time, it was close to closing. Overall, I just found staff not really well trained and kind of checked out. It was a very different experience compared to their Eaton Centre location.
I purchased a gift card online from Honey as a birthday gift for my wife, assuming she could use it at their physical store. Unfortunately, when she tried to redeem it in-store, they told her it only works online. This makes no sense in today’s digital world where everything should be integrated. Now I’m stuck with a gift card that we can’t use the way we intended. To make things worse, there’s no phone support—just an email, and I’m still waiting for a response. Very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and poor customer service.
I will never shop at this store again!! Terrible exchange polices! We were away for Christmas and just got back! Item was too small and they won’t even allow for exchange! Terrible service! Owner maybe you should consider hiring better staff, a ton of bad reviews!
One of the most rejuvenating experiences in customer service. I'm way out of my element as a single father shopping for three girls, but Kavita was able to give me her time, patience, and understanding to fit all my needs. I had all my questions answered and everything throughly explained to me. After a long a long frustration day I came into the Honey expecting things to go even worse, but after meeting the stores wonderful staff my day greatly improved! It just goes to show a little humanity and kindness can go a long way. You've definitely made a life long customer.
