Staff: The staff were very friendly, welcoming, patient and kind. We felt very included and very welcome there. It was a very positive and friendly atmosphere. The staff did not push or sway us into getting a specific clothing style, fabric, cut or fit. They simply asked us what we were looking for and what our goals were. They asked helpful questions and offered explanations and gave suggestions when asked. They patiently and methodically looked for sizes and styles and brought them for us to try on. I also liked that the service was personalized and customized based on our needs. They had change rooms with our name signs. This allowed us to walk in and out of the change rooms, and approach the staff and ask them questions, or ask them for suggestions. Store: The store had a large volume of clothing in different shapes and sizes. They are also very inclusive in terms of body size and shape. If you like the cut, or the shape of something, but it’s not in your size, they will happily make suggestions or order something for you to come back and try on. We love this specific store! We will revisit Penningtons, for future clothing needs!
When I am looking for retail therapy, I shop at Penningtons. There's never a time that I go shopping here that there isn't a sale, I don't find something I love or I don't find something I didn't expect to find. The selection of basics and unique pieces is split right down the middle and I love that ❤️
Last week I visited your Mavis Road location for the first time, only to find the lone employee on shift was a man. It was disturbing, especially given the fact overweight women often feel vulnerable and judged while shopping for clothing as it is. You could have hired a woman, but chose not to safeguard your customers. I won't be returning.
I’ve been shopping at Penningtons for my entire adult life and have always been pleased with the service provided by the sales staff. I rarely post publicly however, this past week when shopping there, I found the service exceptional and felt I needed to share my gratitude to Rosie at the Heartland Penningtons store for her patience, suggestions and kindness. She went above and beyond in her effort to assist me. I was in the store for awhile and even while working the store on her own before other staff arrived and tending to other customers, she continued to deal with my constant requests with so much patience. She deserves to be recognized for her amazing attitude and poise. Thank you Rosie!
The store employees were so welcoming and kind and they knew exactly how to get me the right size bra and dress and they made me feel so happy and comfortable while doing it! I cant remember the womans name who helped me her name starts with an r and was lovely! Honestly you know your in good hands when you walk into this store I will be shopping here from now on! Honestly... When Addition Elle closed, I was heartbroken but Pennington's today renewed my faith.. no longer the drab clothing meant to shame the plus-sized.. what a breath of fresh air. I had a very successful experience today and friendly service to boot. Thanks, Pennington's!
The best store we have ever entered. Such sweet, beautiful, amazing ladies. Kim, Fatima, Anneca and Sereena were absolutely Ahhh-mazing. Highly recommend this location, not only will you get nice things you’ll also have a wonderful experience in doing so. Keep it uplove and light
