Had to drive to this store as all others in the GTA didn't carry the patio set I wanted. The staff here were truly helpful. Something I haven't experienced at other GTA stores in the same way. They seem to enjoy their workplace and were friendly to all the customers and helpful with all my inquires.
Must sell a lot ,products I was looking for empty bins .very poor inventory control .I check other CT first next time
Pat was just incredible. He went beyond and above to help me out. I wanted to give him a commendation and was told to go to customer service, which I did, and she told me to call it in as she was walking away. Not good at all. She also asked the sales lady to take Pat's name, which I said, she has customers in line, who had been waiting for me as we could not find the bar codes on my products. I was so excited with Pat and his excellent service, only to get disappointed by the customer service Rep. I am choosing to take away the wonderful experience I had with Pat.
I made a 5:30pm appointment to have a diagnostic because my check engine light had come on. After waiting nearly two hours, with my car still in visible in the shop I finally went to the front desk. I was told the technician had left long ago without telling anyone. He simply put the report on the hood of the car. The gentleman at the desk ended up having to call the technician's cell to find out what the result of the diagnostic actually was. He apologized and after I asked, told me the best he could do with 10% off the cost of the diagnostic. I paid the $112 and declines any repairs. It was 8PM by the time I left the store. I have had negative experiences at this location in the past and this was definitely the last chance. I will never come to this location for any car services in the future and am very hesitant to bring my vehicle to any Canadian Tire. The last thing I need at the end of a long work day is to wait 2.5 hours to diagnose a simple faulty oxygen sensor.
This particular CT is pet friendly. There is a sign on the door inviting you to bring your dogs inside to shop with :)
