It took 25 minutes and tracking down 6 different people to open a case to buy a vacuum. The first 3 each said they were getting somebody but nobody came. Then 2 other people came to say they didnt have they key. The manager who arrived last was friendly and helpful but it was a pretty big ordeal for me to make a purchase. At the cash I was expecting Canadian Tire points because as I walked in there was a huge sign advertising 20x the points, today only. The cashier explained that we only get points if we pay cash or debit, and that the 20x the points offer expired. I confirmed that the sign was still up as I left the store. I left irritated and reminded why I rarely shop here. I know one other shopper also wanted a $300 vacuum but left after it was clear nobody was coming to help. There is certainly plenty of room for improvement.
Poor customer service, hardly any staff, empty shelves, never have what I'm looking for. Always some excuse why they don't have items they advertise. In the plumbing section hardly anything on the shelves, was told they need to get rid of old inventory before unpacking new. So they may have what I need they just won't put it on the shelf yet. The two stars is for one of the staff who actually smiled and was friendly. Once again Canadian Tire you're a huge disappointment.
Too many empty shelves and limited selection. Also, ABSOLUTELY NO STAFF to get help from. This place gives Canadian Tire a bad name.
Plz put exhaust fan in the washrooms. Plz cover the the drain hole in the washrooms because the sewer exhaust is filling the washrooms with smell of feces and urine. Other than that it's a great store.
Had an emergency repair done here, where I had my tire changed on a Friday night , the place is open until 9:00 pm turn around was quick and amazing customer service.
