It may be a good roof, it's all sales pitch but empty promises and extremely poor and rude customer service, especially by the Installation Manager Tony.
Adrian at this company was very abrupt, found him to be quite rude while trying to get a quote. After leaving a message on the website I received a snarky message from him within two minutes of sending the message. Wish I could post that recorded message. Ended the message with buddy boy. Buyer beware. Hate to think how dealing with them would be if something goes wrong. Very unprofessional. Won't be using these guys.
Our home has a very large roof, which had been re-shingled in 2007, but the shingles were done!We knew from a Toronto Star article that aluminum is the preferred metal for roofing, not steel, and that an aluminum roof would add significant value to our house. Our insurance agent also told us that he had Interlock do the roof on his Century (plus) home in 1988, and he said it looked like the day it was installed. In fact, his home was up for sale, and he said he was getting lot of interested buyers, who commented that their interest was because of the roof, in spite of the age of the house.The warranty and a professional sales presentation convinced us to go with Interlock. (We did have four other companies quote steel roofs an one to quote lifetime shingles. Even shingles were $18,000.) The warranty from Interlock is in black and white, and covers everything, even excess colour fading. The lifetime warranty and the ability to transfer a fifty year warranty to a new owner for $300, and the fact Interlock has been in business for a long time, and is a Canadian company were major deciding factors. The installer worked diligently on his own, left the work site tidy at all times, and did a very professional job.The result is fabulous! People in the neighbourhood who we have never met comment as we walk our dogs, asking if we are the owners of the house, and that the result is beautiful. We believe that we we will get a far bigger return than what we spent when it is time to sell.
A great new roof that gives the house a great new look. The sales representative was friendly, helpful, and didnt make us feel pressured at all. The price was less then expected. The installers were dedicated and did an excellent job. We are extremely happy with the service and the results we received from Interlock.
Excellent from start to finish! Our roof consultant, Bob was very thorough and very knowledgeable which gave us added confidence that we had made the right decision after all our research. The installer, Jeremy did an Excellent job of making sure we were happy with the end product. Jeremy takes great pride in his work and holds himself to a very high standard for his workmanship. It was great to see Bob during the installation and after the job was finished, making sure we were happy with the process and the end result. Excellent quality product and installation. The roof looks amazing!! Highly recommend Intetlock roof to any one looking for a superior quality roof and excellent follow up service.
