⸻ I had a disappointing experience at this Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy. I went yesterday to refill my prescription and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I informed them that I would come back the next day instead. However, when I returned the following day, the medication was still not refilled, and I was asked to come back again. I had visited after work, in very cold weather, and I had to wait for public transportation. Preparing prescriptions on time is part of their responsibility, and this lack of coordination caused unnecessary inconvenience. I hope the pharmacy improves its service and communication in the future.
Today I called early in the morning to reserve a booking at their care clinic for my daughter who is only 5. She has an eye infection and the lady the store told me i can come in and that i did not need an appointment. upon my arrival the pharmacist was rude and dismissive. She mentioned that I not only needed an appointment but by glimpsing at my child she determined she was "fine" not even asking of her symptoms or even providing me a time when she would be able to properly assess my child. The pharmacist Mini George was not only dismissive but also extremely unprofessional. This would be the primary reason why pharmacist should not be assessing and writing prescriptions. No way you can look at a child without knowing whats wrong with them and determine they are fine. They ignored us while we tried to get an understanding of what can be done at home with over the counter medication. I wouldnt give this location my time again, instead of finding a resolution she was focused on discrediting the fact that I mentioned i called before i came. DO BETTER. Customer service is apart of the job.
Went to this shopper drug over the weekend November 22 2025 the lady at the cash register was so nice her name is Kaur amazing customer service thank you so much, after a l9ng time I have see this type of customer service , keep up the good work
This was one of the worst Shoppers stores I have ever been to in my life. The lady with the boy-cut hairstyle was extremely rude and unhelpful—just standing there staring at my face. No one seemed responsible; everyone was apparently on a 1-hour break. Such unprofessional customer service. I went there during my break, and even though I had picked up a lot of items, the way that lady treated me—with that ridiculous attitude—made me feel miserable and insulted. We are paying for the products, not taking them for free. In the end, I just dropped everything in front of that lady and walked out. I honestly don’t even have the words to explain how terrible my experience was. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. Shame on such service.
I was there with my baby today. The lady (I think her name is Sherin) who was at the cash (short hair white lady with glasses) was so unprofessional. I felt like she thinks every person with brown skin is a thief. This is not the 1st time. As we are regular customers for almost 10 years and I felt this way every time I shopped there. Today I asked for the bag of milk, she responded with straight NO. I knew their fridge area where they keep milk and egg is damaged due to any accident. Then I noticed she is following me for every aisle I go. I asked for Eggs then she went to back to get the egg and asked for milk as well. I had a feeling they had milk in the back. She should have checked with the back before she said NO to the milk. I would really appreciate if she could little more better with when dealing with customers and not following customers aisle to aisle. I felt she is a racist because i have seen she is dealing with white customers nicely. A small talk and a simple have a good day can go long way. But she is there to make people life miserable. Other than this lady every one there is giving and gave nice service.
I had a terrible experience at this Shoppers Drug Mart. I went in to redeem my perfume from the Discovery Set, bringing both my original receipt and the voucher that came in the set — exactly as stated in the instructions. The back of the voucher clearly says you only need either the original receipt or a gift receipt. If you have the original receipt, you don’t need a gift receipt, and vice versa. However, the staff member Naudin refused to process my redemption and repeatedly insisted I needed a gift receipt, even after I read out the policy printed right on the voucher. She was completely unwilling to listen, unhelpful, and offered no solution except telling me to go back to the store where I purchased the set to get a gift receipt printed….. which is completely unnecessary and a huge inconvenience. Because of this, I had to drive to another Shoppers Drug Mart, where they redeemed my voucher without any problem using my original receipt. This experience was frustrating, a waste of my time, and showed a complete lack of understanding of Shoppers’ own policies. Very poor customer service, and disappointing to see no effort made to resolve the issue in a helpful or respectful way.
Exceptional staff and customer service! I have been going to this pharmacy for over 20 years. Sonny, Mini, Maryana, Marisa, Linn and the rest of the pharmacy staff are amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. They know my family, our history and medications, and always go above and beyond to deliver extraordinary service. I rarely have to wait for prescriptions as they are well stocked and fill them quickly and efficiently. We use the online prescription refill option for reminders and to order medication refills, check prescription history, and book our flu shots and appointments. We have used the Pharmacists to diagnosis and provide treatments for small ailments like strep throat, cold sores, and ear infections which has saved me trips to the doctor’s office and long waits at walk-in clinics for items of smaller concern. I highly recommend them for their knowledge, attention to detail and excellent customer service! Aside from the pharmacy, the store staff are friendly, and the store is clean, organized, well stocked and accessible with street level access and automatic doors. They also have several self-checkout machines. Ample parking as it is in a plaza but limited accessible parking spots.
