I had a very bad experience. I booked my appointment and went on time. I gave blood and urine samples. They called me in the afternoon and said that my urine sample was spilled because I did not close it correctly. They asked me to go a second time and provide another sample without waiting in a queue. I agreed and went the next day. They kept me waiting for a long time, so I approached them for a follow-up, they wrote my name on a container and gave it to me. I left the second sample in the fridge as directed and waited for the results. Then I received another call saying that my birth date was not on the container so they got rid of my second sample!!! They asked me for a third sample to which of course I declined their request. When my doctor reviewed the blood work results, it turned out that they charged me for one of the tests that are covered by OHIP! They are polite and nice and very poor in performance.
This is my 1st time going here. Usually, I always have issues with taking blood. Doctors always need to take it from my hands and it’s always painful. I have low iron and sometimes I forget to drink water so that’s on me but this time was amazing! I was with Stephanie. She was so nice and welcoming. She found my vein so easy and I felt nothing. I’m black, I have dark skin and you can’t see my veins as easy as lighter skin tones.
I was able to get an appointment at this location sooner, which is out of my Way, but reception takes a bit too long with signing in otherwise I would read it as a 10. The lady who drew out my blood was very friendly very patient when taking out my blood. She was so good. I didn’t even feel the need to go in, which is a bonus. Might consider coming back for further bloodwork since it was such a great experience.
Clean efficient and skilled. Recommend booking appt online. Keep in mind, If you come earlier it will not bump you up. They may however squeeze you in between Apts.
This is an honest review, I am their permanent customer since they are the only one who find my weird vains?. Ladies are so respectful and supportive that they know you now and take care of you while whole process. Still some customers complaint for the reasons which are truly baseless, I saw 2 customers yelling at them one for the requisition which there doctor forgot to FAX, second the lady who got offended saying you guys rude. Anyways thats how this world work. I m living in Brampton from 3 years always visited derry road lifelab without appointment and its never a long wait. Washrooms clean , blood station clean, proper sanitation used.
I've never been to this location but I find the staff I dealt with very rude! I know it was 9 o'clock in the morning but there's no need to be rude to a customer first thing in the morning
Had an appointment and only waited 10 minutes. The staff member that took my blood samples had a very soft hand and I did not feel any pain neither got any bruise.
