Giving 2 stars because there is no sign about the lab when you enter the building, the Google listing says floor 2, while it is located on 4th. They need to have user friendly signage. Wasted almost 10 minutes trying to locate them asking on around on 2nd floor.
This is the only Lifelabs in the Oakville/ west Mississauga area that is open past noon on Saturdays. It was open until 2 pm and was still taking walk ins at 1: 30 pm. Service was friendly and efficient. They are located on the Credit Valley Hospital campus but in a separate building. CAUTION: The parking is PAID PARKING. It's $4 per half hour. To avoid paying for parking, try to park on the residential streets nearby, or, if possible, have someone drop you off near the emergency entrance of Credit Valley Hospital, and just walk the ~100 metres to the building that Lifelabs is in. Do NOT turn off the hospital road that runs alongside the emergency dept, or you will be committed to driving up to the gated arm and having to pay for a ticket. You won't be able to turn around. (If there's no traffic and you might be able to back all the way back out to the hospital road that runs parallel to the ER entrance). I rate the service and hours 5 stars, but am deducting one star because I hate being forced to pay for parking.
Reception staff is super rude. I asked if they have water they didn't even look at me to respond. The lab doesn't have drinking water which is odd for a diagnostic lab. They don't pronounce the names correctly and then react very rudely when someone double checks with them.
Horrible customer service staff members are RUDE i went there and waiting in line ? i was the only one in there and the lady at the desk didn't acknowledge me i was there for 3 whole mins the place was empty and she just kept typing away
The Asian lady at the receptionist is the rudest person we have ever encountered. She was condescending and humiliating people for absolutely no reason. There was a poor old lady in front of me who she treated so badly. You think people are coming in here for fun? They come in because they are sick and it is HER job to be friendly and accommodating. If you can’t work in the service industry, quit. Horrible experience. Avoid this place at all costs.
Don't drive here Had no idea the parking situation was so horrible, there's no designated parking for this location and the hospital lot is full of cars roaming around trying to find a spot. Took so long that I had to give up on my appointment and go somewhere else. Unless someone is dropping you here it's not recommended to get here by car.
Most pathetic labs i have ever seen since I landed in Canada. No professionalism, they don’t value your time. I made a walkin and that time the receptionist said 1 hour and after 1 hour of wait she said another 1 hour. I just walked back home without giving my blood sample and while collecting my Health card from receptionist she said you should be glad it was just 1 hour. Seriously ?
