Having worked in the hospitality sector myself for quite some time I know the value and importance of customer service. I was stranded at the airport called comfort inn they had no rooms but said quality inn was available. I was quoted a price that quality inn initially said they would honour plus I had a valid business discount voucher from my employer. Not only did the manager not even attempt to try and see what he could do to match the rate originally quoted to me on the phone he then said his system couldnt figure out how to take the code so he would have to give me the higher price even though he knew the voucher was valid is it was from an app on my phone. Extremely manipulative and such a horrible experience and end to a brutal day. Customer service is starting with truly understanding where the customer is at and seeing what best you can do to meet them. He could have easily matched the price Ive worked at a hotel - I know you can enter a code into the system. But he successfully managed to make a bad day just extra bad. Wouldve rather slept outside or shouldve stayed at the airport. Pathetic.
The worst hotel experience ever in my life. As another one mentioned below, if there were 0 point, I would give this place 0. And again, as other reviews speak about bad customer service, yes, very bad customer service which made my day. I should have trusted those reviews. The staffs somehow looked bored stiff, not satisfied with the work, do not smile, not flexible, and very much bureaucratic. Seriously, I don't know what kind of customer service and what kind of value this hotel wants to pursue. The key for the room does not work well and the room is filled with stuffy air. It was the time I could think about what the 'hotel management' means.
The rooms were nice. Clean, comfortable. Some of the amenities listed on the website were not available, and staff are unaware of them. The coffee provided is only decaf. The staff was kind to the older members of my group, but rather rude towards the younger members (30-40 years old). Overall, it was a good stay. Everything I would expect from a hotel, and a few extras.
The other scary reviews on here were really making me second guess my booking but I am glad I carried on. They were as nice as can be, the room was clean, and I have no major complaints. The only issues were the weak wifi and the mandatory deposit.
We are here once a week when we're in town and the staff have been very accommodating. The rooms are very clean and rates are affordable. Modern furniture and flat screen TVs. There is a complimentary hot breakfast buffet with your stay. We highly recommend this hotel for our family and friends that want to come and visit. Thank you!!
