We recently had technicians from applewood install our air conditioner. The technicians were very thorough and also very polite. They respected our home and cleaned up after themselves. They consulted us and went over what their suggestion for location of unit was prior to starting the work. I recommend using Applewood. Absolutely unacceptable service. I have a 3-month-old baby and a 2-year-old toddler, and we were left without air conditioning during a major heat wave. Despite multiple calls, they refused to send a technician for almost a week. My newborn cried nonstop from the extreme heat and it was unbearable. To make it worse, the HVAC system was leaking and completely non-functional. I couldn’t even go with another provider because doing so would void the warranty on our brand new home. They showed zero urgency or concern for our situation. Shameful service. Stay far away! Photos attached.
I have never witnessed a company with such a non serious approach towards customer service. The technician diagnosed a problem and work order was shared with the office for replacement. I made over 20 calls to service and production manager, one one had a the courtesy to call me back. As a last resort I visited their office. The receptionist was kind enough to convey my concerns to the service team but no one bothered stepped out of their office to address my concern. It’s been over a week that my new ac installed almost 16months ago at the newly built house in Oakville purchased through developer. Till now I have not heard back from any one from Apple wood. I’ve told them I have an elderly person and 3 kids at home but unfortunately all my requests have fallen onto deaf ears. They are overloaded with work with zero after sales service. Won’t recommend this company for air conditioning to any one! For the management who will jump onto defend the company I am attaching the current temperature inside my house for you to understand why I posted this review.

Don't want to bad talk any company just YET. But I've had issues with my Applewood system from my brand new home in Mississauga for the last 2 years. I've tried to get Applewood to come in to diagnose and fix the issue. Got charged the initial diagnostic fee (said everything was fine) but was promised that they will get to the bottom of the issue. Never got it fixed and never really heard back since. I've left 4-6 voicemails over the course of the summer. Their service department never allows direct contact. Always leave voicemail and call back. But I've had maybe 2-3 call backs (regarding a part that they will try to install for us, but somehow they aren't able to locate such part) of the 4-6 times I've left voicemails. Our AC is freezing the pipes and air handler/furnace and we have basically no AC for the entire summer with 2 young children in the house. It's extremely frustrating and I'm almost at the point, to give up and give my entire HVAC business to another company and redo the entire AC unit.
