Great shop and excellent service. Fatima was fab to deal with and quite knowledgeable on the tech front. Also, best value for your buck as compared to the big retail superstores.
Ordered online. They didn't ship on-time and they didn't give me the correct tracking number, twice. They said sorry and will ship soon, but then never hear back again. Finally got the item delivered only to find it was the wrong one and there was an extra item in the box I didn't order. I do not recommend buying from them online.
Port Credit. I just finished getting all my questions and a new iPad. The lady who helped me is Mini at Tech Solutions on Helene St. I am very happy with her work and computer wizardry.
Very professional & affordable. I have been going there for years. Bought my laptop there. They fixed my daughter iPad. Bought several things there. I would recommend them to anyone.
This morning, I saw a FB ad for a computer that I wanted. My laptop just crashed and I work from home, so I needed a replacement immediately. I called the store beforehand to make sure the computer would be available before driving 75 minutes from Thornhill to their location in Mississauga. Upon arriving to the store, I asked for the computer that I had called about. When the lady gave it to me, I saw that the specs were not those that were originally listed. (It was an i5, not an i7 as listed on the description). I told her that I needed an i7, and she said that they didn’t have any available. (The whole reason that I called before making the long drive). The lady suggested calling the store’s other location instead. After calling, they said that they had what I needed in another model but that it would cost $120 more than the original item I had traveled for. Despite being disappointed over the big change in price, I agreed to the increase. The lady said that they would deliver the laptop to my home in the evening, since it would add another hour and ten mins to my drive to travel to their second location. The lady told me to write down my full address, name and number so that the laptop could be delivered. I asked more than once what time my laptop would arrive, because I needed to work an overnight shift. She said it would come shortly after 7pm. At 6:45pm, a man called me to tell me that he wouldn’t be able to deliver the laptop until tomorrow. I told him that that won’t work because I said multiple times that I would need the laptop for work tonight. He said he would look for a solution and call back. He called back and said that he couldn’t get to me tonight but that someone else in the area would deliver a different laptop to me. I could use it as a loaner for the night, and my real laptop would be delivered tomorrow. It wasn’t ideal, but I reluctantly agreed because I really needed a device for work. An hour later, someone else called and said that he messed up my address and traveled to Brampton instead of Thornhill. The street he traveled to had the same name as mine. That said, I wrote down my full mailing address for the store earlier in the day, including the city name and postal code… so this was their error and not mine. The new caller said that he wouldn’t be able to deliver the laptop tonight because the drive is too far. I again told him that I really need the laptop tonight as promised… so he said that he would find someone else to deliver it. Another hour later, a third man called and told me that he would find a way to get a loaner laptop to me. He said that he’s in Scarborough and that he’ll get the whole mess sorted. I stressed to him that my job begins at 10pm and that I would definitely need any laptop to be delivered before then. He said that he would call me back with a solution shortly. It’s now after midnight, and no one has called me back. I was off all day today and could have gone to any other store to make my purchase and be prepared for work. I didn’t use that time because this store assured me that they would take care of me. Instead, they provided the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I had 10 calls with persons related to this store between 6:45pm and 9:30pm and after assuring me that they would deliver a laptop to me, I am still without a device for my job, and without so much as an apology. Look anywhere else for your computer needs. You can’t rely on this business. Horrible experience.
Take your device to this place at your own risk!! Their technicians are incompetent and customer service is extremely poor. I took my phone to them for repair when it stopped charging. They offered the lowest price to fix it (as they use fake parts). But I'm realizing that spending an extra $40 elsewhere would've been a way better decision. They said the phone needed a new charging port. They changed the charging cable only but now my phone was apparently charging but not turning on. They said the port was fine, but there was water damage and the display was not working. That was impossible as my display was just fine till I took it to them. On asking more questions the technician spoke rudely and his only explanation is that I was lying about the condition of my phone. So I took my phone from there to a U break I fix shop (authorised Samsung shop). The technician there opened the phone and immediately noted that the CHARGING CABLE WAS PLACED INCORRECTLY THAT CAUSED A SURGE OF POWER TO BURN THE MOTHERBOARD. The cost to now fix all of this was $300+ and that's not even confirmed because finding a replacement motherboard for this model is difficult. My data and 1.5 year old perfectly working phone, all gone because of the incompetence of the technician at this store. When I went back to tell them they made a mistake and should compensate me, they refused to believe me and continued to speak rudely like I was crazy and made stuff up. Their attitude and service towards customers is poor and overall their staff is incompetent and rude.
I was referred to tech solutions by a friend over 2 yrs agoand have learned quite a bit with Ali's help..and i referred friends to go there too.and they were very happy eith his service.it is very much a 5 star tech store.i dont do any tech stuff without asking Ali first.very honest ppl there...will keep going there and telling my friends?
