The shop owner was kind enough to have my Solid State Hard drive looked at after a drive failure/data loss; He called me back in a few days. Although the drive wasnt able to be saved because the SSD controller isn't supported yet (my SSD is too new), I really do appreciate such good service by following up in a timely manner. Computer Star definifely cares about their customers.
Comouter star fixed my macbook air from severe water damage. My keyboard and track pad werent responding, the apple store told me it would cost me more than the price of a new MacBook air to fix. But computer star fixed it within one day and at a very reasonable price. I'm so grateful!
I usually don’t post negative reviews unless I am taken advantage of, like in this situation. I would like to begin by saying this has been a really arduous process dealing with Computer Star from start to finish. Very unreasonable, dishonest establishment. I contacted Mastercard to dispute the payment made to these crooks. Computer Star do not accommodate their customers, & are not really clear on the permanent alterations made to customers computers. I wanted to share my story so no one else has to go thru what I have with these crooks. Google only allows me a certain amount of words or else I would have written much more details about my experience dealing with these characters.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! I came here once before and replaced my iPhone XR screen they charged me $120 for replacement. Now i came back to fix the same exact screen they replaced and they are trying to charge me $240 dollars to replace again, mind you the iPhone XR came out 4 years ago so to fix the screen for that price is ridiculous i was basically about to be ripped off never going here again! go to BUYNSELL they fixed my screen for $100
I came here less than 6 months ago to get a replacement battery put in to my macbook pro, after one month, I had to get it replaced. The guy replaced it and now, less than 5 months later, I cant use my laptop without it being plugged in. Would never ever return or recommend.
I had an issue with my old MacBook 17" not loading and restarting repeatedly. I took it over to Computer Star and they were able to fix it within the day. Very fast, knowledgable and affordable.
The person called Rafeeq is a scam artist. I brought my laptop in that was stuck on the apple logo screen and wouldn't get passed that screen. After 2 hours he called me and said that I won't be able to start the computer again and he might be able to recover the data but it would cost 700. I said no, I will just take the laptop elsewhere, he dropped the price down to 500 dollars. I still said no. I took it somewhere else and they said the hard drive just needed error repairs. I have recovered all of my files myself. Thank God I didn't fall victim for these guys.
