We ordered two non spicy dishes, tofu and beef, and they were excellent! The quality, portion and price for the main dish was really good! Thank you!
They serve mainly northern cuisine which is spicy and strong. Most dishes are salty and over seasoned. Service is average but not friendly at all. Price is on high side in comparison with other similar restaurants. They have a bar serving special drinks but the area is messy at the entrance filled with carton boxes.
Worst experience I've got from Golden Square The stir fried potatoes are tasteless and have a look at the picture THIS is spare ribs? I got a plate of bones with a bit of meat attached to it and it cost 20 CAD What kind joke is this Won't say the service is anywhere near good too I'm sure there's a lot of places that can provide a way better dining experience
The food was delicious! We were a group of four—two carnivores and two vegetarians—and the restaurant had plenty of options to satisfy everyone. Some of the dishes were unique and new to me, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Service was quick and attentive, and the washrooms were spotless and well-kept. Prices were reasonable, with great daily specials
Red Lotus Restaurant has the best dry hotpot by far. The flavors are bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat and seasoning. This is the first time I've seen the owner argue with customers. There is no policy in the menu regarding limits for the daily specials. We've ordered more than one daily special before without any issues. You should check how other restaurants handle their daily specials. If you don't want to continue the promotion, then just remove it. This feels cheap.
Decent restaurant, but both the quality of service and food had dropped significantly from 3 years ago. The food was okay, the waitresses would stare at you when you're eating, weird. Also the cashier was a bit rude. Did it change ownership?
