My Granddaughter with her friends recently visited this spot and was thoroughly impressed. The homemade noodles are absolutely outstanding you can really taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. The flavors were authentic and delicious, hitting all the right notes. Beyond the food, what really stood out was the excellent service. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or hanging out with friends. It is the kind of cozy atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Overall, this is a fantastic place that I would highly recommend to anyone craving flavorful, authentic noodles in a welcoming setting. I will definitely be back.
Despite being a regular customer at this place, I will never return again. While I was walking, some juice spilled on me, and I simply requested a napkin. It wouldn’t have cost anything to help, and providing one napkin would have easily resolved the issue. However, the staff member—whom I believe was the chef—was extremely rude and told me that the place was not open to the public and refused to help. It’s concerning that someone who prepares food for others can be so lacking in humanity and unwilling to assist someone in need. Another staff member was kind and tried to help, but the chef’s behavior was unacceptable. As a loyal customer, I will be sharing my experience and advising others not to return.
Absolutely Incredible Japanese Cuisine! This place blew me away! Hands down the best homemade noodles I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, with just the right texture and an incredible depth of flavor. The beef paste was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, you can truly taste the care that goes into every dish. I also have to highlight the service! the entire staff was genuinely knowledgeable, attentive, and very helpful. They clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail. Overall, a top-notch dining experience. Authentic, flavorful, and welcoming.I can’t wait to go back!
I went here alone because I was craving ramen. The waiter asked how thick I wanted my noodles, and I said “a little thick, but Japanese-style — not too much.” He ended up serving me udon noodles thicker than my sister’s drawn-on eyebrows. I didn’t have time to complain or exchange it since I was really hungry and in a rush. Then I asked for a sauce for my fried chicken cutlet, and after 10 minutes, the waiter came back to tell me it would cost $3 just for a side of sauce. That was frustrating, but again, I didn’t want to argue and ruin my meal. Overall, the experience left a bad taste. I found the extra charges and service unreasonable. I won’t be coming back — don’t waste your money or appetite here.
You are able to see the chefs cooking, but also how they are not following proper sanitary food handling procedure protocol. Wiping sweat from your face, touching receipts amongst other things isn't what I want contaminating my food.. If you know what to look for, what looks appetizing, turns the stomach after watching them prepare.. food tasting good, not excellent but good
Take this from a Chinese guy who frequents noodle restaurants. There are better Chinese noodle options in Mississauga such as noodle fan or Suns. -- First when you sit down you'll notice the loud EDM music being blasted which doesn't fit the atmosphere. It feels like a club or rave party. Service is good and efficient. Chicken fillet was good with authentic flavoring but the dish was small. Noodle soup base flavor were not very intense and the hand pulled noodle is soft with little texture or 'bounce'. You also get much less meat than the photo implies, 1 piece instead of the 5. Will not come back as there are better options in Mississauga such as noodle fan and Suns.
I had a very disturbing experience at this restaurant. While dining, I encountered three cockroaches in the seating area. One was on the chair we were about to sit on, so we had to switch seats. Another one crawled onto my pants, and a third black one was eventually stepped on and killed, then taken away by a staff member. This is a serious hygiene issue, and I sincerely hope the restaurant will take pest control and cleanliness more seriously. I also ordered the angel hair-style Dandan noodles (Mao Xi), and they were served completely clumped together, lacking any elasticity or proper texture. Very disappointing overall.
