Cheap and you can taste why.... the orange chicken tastes like someone sprayed artificial orange flavoring on it, the noodles are tasteless, and the beef in beef and Broccoli tastes really off and squishy and looks almost gray in colour.... at least the Broccoli is somewhat edible
Was visiting the mall today. Went to use the washroom and while I was in there an employee from Manchu Wok came in to use the washroom as well. Once I was done I washed my hands as your supposed too but I observed this individual just walk out. After I finished washing my hands I noticed this same employee handling the counter area. I approached him and mentioned I was in the washroom and I observed you just walk out and not wash your hands. His reply was I washed it at the counter that had a sink attached. I said to him from a customer POV I wouldn't know this and even if you did it wouldn't hurt to wash your hands in the washroom and if you want to wash them again upon return to the counter that's ok. I have feeling he never washed his hands as he got defensive when approached.
So I went there Sunday 1050am, so when fresh food is apparently there. To order rice and chicken balls with red sauce over all. I didn’t have a knife so had a hard time putting the fork in as the chicken ball was extremely hard and when I put it in my mouth it was cold including the sauce. When I brought it back to them to ask for my money the lady said “I don’t know how to give back money”. So I said call who you need she then called the cook or lady from out back she was touching my food and taking pictures to send to whom ever on the phone. She offered $7 refund from my $16.95. Just stay away as I even contacted head office and still nothing so beware
My daughter and I went here today. The food was absolutely awful. We got the black bean sauce beef, steam rice and broccoli. Awful awful, I threw out mine and my daughter did the same. 34.34 for 6 pieces of thin cut beef, and tons of rice and the gravy was so disgusting. Never ever again! And the woman and man at the front were looking at my daughter and I when we went to sit down and were saying something and laughing, what an experience!
★☆☆☆☆ I usually love Manchu Wok, but this was by far the worst location I’ve ever been to. The food was completely inedible—I took one bite and had to throw my entire 3-item plate in the trash. The meat tasted stale and had a strange, off-putting flavor. I was genuinely shocked at how bad it was. Square One’s location is way fresher than this. Save your money and go elsewhere.
The meats they serve is not good, feels like it’s been sitting there from ages. We got tricked into getting a meal since there were few people at the counter. Quality of food is horrible here, and when we complained about the meats tasting weird, they offered us other meats which also turned out to be bad.
The Food is terrible. Meat doesn’t taste good and it tastes super stale. We were deceived with the queue, turned out everyone felt the same. We threw out our food and even complaint to the management who in turn offered us to have different meat, which we turned down, as the first round let us with a bad experience.
