The portion sizes were amazing. The food was really well cooked and tasted amazing. It was a perfect option on a night where I did not have time to cook dinner.
So I have ordered a stir fried beef with green onion rice bowl through Uber eats, but when it arrives, I felt like the chef has mistaken my order and make stir fried beef with peeper rice bowl instead. Don’t get me wrong, the bowl is delicious, but I also think the chef should take a more careful look to each order. I understand working as a chef is tired and mistakes do happen, but as a customer, we also want to get what we ordered. Thank you for the food btw, it is pretty good.
Do not recommend. I was looking forward to trying their soup as I love spicy hotpot and have tried other spicy dishes here before but was very disappointed. We ordered four soups through uber eats as we saw they had a buy one get one free promotion. The portions were so tiny it seems like they split one soup into 4 containers, one is not at all enough for an adult or even a child. We ordered the mala soups and the tomato soups and did not like the tastes of either. The Mala was slightly more tolerable than the tomato but I would not recommend as there are many much better hot pot places in the area and we even prefer store bought packaged hotpot over the flavour to these soups. The sliced meat was the only good part of the meal but the beef was not. I've had other dishes from this restaurant which were good but was very disappointed with the quality and quantity of food with the small portions. I regret wasting money on this order since I could have made better hotpot soup using packages I have at home.

Ordered the scallion oil noodles. Were not cooked properly and not seasoned enough. Also the taste was more like vinegar than scallion. No topping either just boiled noodles for $14.
I ordered braised pork belly on rice from Uber. In the picture it showed pork belly on rice with greens and marinated egg. What I got instead had very little meat, mostly potatoes on rice and nothing else. Total false advertising from this restaurant. I cannot eat the potatoes because they were burnt and you can smell how burned it was. The pork was gamey and unclean. The rice was dry like sand. I would rate the veggies and eggs if I actually got any, but it’s a scam. I called in to try to ask what is going on and the person on the phone hung up as soon as I asked for the owner. Completely unprofessional. Do not eat here. Edit: See the owner response below with more lies and excuses. Excuses such as "default picture is from uber so it's not our fault". Lies such as how they hung up because I was angry. They prefer to fight the customer than to take criticism and improve their quality. Judge for yourself this response and other responses what kind of business owner this is. I know I won't be coming back and I will tell others the same.
We came here for our special night on our Anniversary. The waitress is so nice and patient. The food is amazing. If you love spicy and authentic Chinese food, here is a good choice. Unfortunately, they don't serve alcohol.
