Buyer beware. This guy is the epitome of the kind of sneaky weasel whom gives the automotive industry a bad name. Ravi the owner of formerly named (aspec motors) Falsified a safety inspection to sell me a vehicle and dragged out the promises to get the car up to spec for 5 months after purchase. Had go through OMVIC and the MTO to finally get the job done. (The folks at omvic & mto are awesome btw) Don’t believe anything you read on his ads either - their are plenty of other auto shops/dealers as alternative options. *Avoid at all costs, you’ll dodge a ton of stress.
For background info, I try to do everything myself on my car. I've only let two mechanics work on my car in the 5 years of owning it. I changed my own oil a little while back, and today while I was on the highway I had the oil filter come loose spilling oil everywhere. Luckily for me, I broke down near ravi's shop, so I gave him a call, and he said to bring my car to him. I got my car towed there and his techs were able to immediately start work on my car to get me going again. The techs here are very knowledgeable and also took the time to make sure to clean up all of the excess oil all over my car. Even though it was a minor issue, they took fantastic care of me and my car, and their attention to detail and genuine care for my vehicle made me extremely happy and I highly recommend this place. I know it's mainly a car dealership, but having these guys work on my car showed that they clearly care about their customers.
Good selection of cars & transparent auto repairs with honest pricing has been my experience so far. They warrantied a transmission job for me no questions asked, took a bit longer than expected but it was done right.
Worst experience ever!!!...the guy ravi is big liar. Dnt know how to deal with customers. And he didnt even know what he was doing.i was there to fix my door and he didnt even match colour. Mine was black and he put silver panel. Even my insurance company mentioned him as a fraud. Even after committing to pay back rental car overcharges he didnt pay single penny. I gave that money out of my pocket. His vendors also complain about him.and then he said that i gave u a favour by fixing ur car. Moreover the guy whom he sent my car to paint he was also mentioned him as fraud .
A-spec Motors is best place to get fix your car. The owner Ravi is very good in dealing with customers. They sell used cars as well. When you buy a car from machenic I think its relief that you gonna have safe drive.
I came upon this place while looking for my first car. Ravi was the nicest and most professional car salesperson I've met. He gave us space, answered all my questions, clarified any details that came up, and sure enough I bought my first car here ('09 Honda Civic)! Overall great experience - definitely recommend! Update 2019: car's still going strong besides some obvious maintenance, wear and tear, and the widespread paint problem from this generation that occurs from driving a lot. Honda also provides a free "CAA"-esque coverage after X amount of years.
