I've used Royal Lube for years without issue. I recently brought my sister in law's car in and was charged an extra fee due to the size of engine. This charge is not posted in the store and was not disclosed prior to work. I would not have had ab issue if they didn't hide the fee until i was paying. This was a dishonest approach to doing business which has now lead to the loss of a long time customer. I'm now on the search for a good replacement business for my oil changes.

I wouldn't trust this place anymore... they didn't even change my oil filter during an oil change! I think it's about time I stop going to this place. After reading the reviews it makes a lot more sense than they've been slacking and doing the bare minimum. My wife came home with the oil change and I checked the engine bay.. only to see that the oil filter wasn't even swapped. Couldn't believe it. I called and they said "of course we always change it.." I told him there's no way dirt would be on the oil filter like this and all he said was, " they get dirty even while we're doing it." Sure it does, but not like the photo here. He said they're willing to change it anyways but that's not even the point. A customer going in for a simple oil change shouldn't have to worry they don't do the minimum needs... After reading the reviews I'm quite worried about getting the wrong oil now. This could be a way bigger problem for a lot of people.
They only have one type of oil regardless of what car you have and it turns out that my fuel economy went down because of that. I had to re-do my oil change and now I have the proper fuel economy.
