I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Bilal at Micro Scan Computers. About a year ago, I went there to replace the broken screen on my MacBook Pro. Bilal charged me $350, claiming he would replace it with a brand-new original screen. I trusted him and paid the full amount. Unfortunately, the screen stopped working after just one year. I took my MacBook to a different repair shop this time, only to discover that I had been cheated. The screen that Bilal had installed was not original—it was a cheap fake replacement that likely caused the issue. This level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I want to warn others to be careful when taking their devices here. If you value your money and your devices, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. There are other, more honest repair shops out there. Transparency and trust are critical in this kind of business, and unfortunately, Micro Scan Computers and Bilal have failed in both regards.
Amazing work! I gave them my Mac that had gotten severe water damage and they were able to fix it in days. Very fast and efficient service, I highly recommend.
I've been very happy with the service...only been aware of the business for the past half year, and the advice has been spot-on and prices reasonable. Prompt repairs and a good selection of accessories. I'd definitely recommend it to a friend!
Replaced screen at a reasonable price and timeframe. They also offered to replace my broken home button and i said ok. Only later did they show me they installed a white home button on a black phone (which hurts resale value) and the fingerprint ID sensor no longer works. When i asked about it he said the fingerprint ID sensor will be permanently broken unless I take it to apple and pay an exorbitant fee. I feel as though i should have been told before he replaced my home button that the fingerprint sensor would no longer function AND that they only had the wrong color in stock.
I cracked my MacBook Pro screen last year and by this summer, it was so much worse, I'm surprised that chunks of it hadn't fallen out. A business in Collingwood, Ontario outsourced the repair to MicroScan Computers and the job was fast, fantastic and super reasonable. Staff were kind, friendly and respectful. Highly recommend!
I had amazing service done here. I had a few different problems with my phone and they managed to fix it all and for a very affordable price! They offer a very handy warranty period in case anything goes wrong and they were very accommodating and so, so nice. They went above and beyond with their service. Definitely will be my go to place for anything electronic going forward!
