Had the pleasure of getting help from Blair today. She went above and beyond in helping me, even wrote a step-by-step for me to do!! It was so refreshing to see someone who genuinely wanted to help out. She knew her stuff for sure! Thank you BLAIR?
Really sweet, helpful and knowledgeable employees but there needs to be more staff working at a time. I don’t know if it’s normally like this but there was one girl and many customers that all needed her help. A lot of customers were stuck waiting for overly long periods of time to the point where other customers were asking me for help finding products as I could tell a lot of people were getting frustrated.
Went in here to grab a bottle of hair dye for my mom. Older south east asian woman asked if I needed assistance. I said “no, thank you” as I knew what I was getting. She proceeded to try to “upsell” me saying I definitely needed the extra gray coverage (I have a few gray hairs but nothing normal hair dye wouldn’t cover AND also I wasn’t even purchasing it for me!!) I said I wasn’t buying this for me, but for my mom, she proceeded to say that that “she would need it too” in a really rude condescending tone. I also didn’t ask for her advice, I genuinely wanted to be left alone so I could browse. She finally left me alone but no joke, a minute later as I’m in another aisle (there are only three aisles in this tiny store), another associate asks me if she can help me with anything. They don’t let you browse in the store, they customer service you like crazy as they seem paranoid about stealing. Really weird experience.
I've been a Sally's customer at the Argentia location for years, so I'm very well aware of the products I use. The sales associates they have now are EXTREMELY PUSHY, quick to insult you and try to lay on products you are not interested in. Just today, I had an East Indian associate tell me how dry my hair is and kept pushing a hair mask on me. This is after me saying twice "I'm not interested!" Being in retail management myself, this is NOT and I repeat NOT proper customer service or a proper sales technique. You are driving your customers away by being so arrogant! Please get it together!
I usually come here for hair dye and always get the same product which I know works perfectly fine. An associate approaches me and tells me it doesn’t work at all and when I state it works for me, she has a terrible attitude and says “whatever you say”. Another associate is just staring at me while I search on my phone for 5 minutes straight. She’s incredibly judgmental and recommends products in an unprofessional way which felt insulting. It made my whole experience uncomfortable and I will NOT be returning again.
If I could rate less I would. Maybe Sally Beauty supply should invest in some cameras? I was followed in the store which made it super uncomfortable. I really needed some nail files for today or else I would have ordered them instead. Never coming back to spend any money again. Rather spend an arm and a leg somewhere else.
Well gave Sally’s another shot as I was in the area. And I’m glad I did. I was helped by Lisa and she was lovely. Very knowledgable. She answered all my questions and set me up with everything I needed and a few other product I haven’t tried before. Such a better experience then ones I had in the past ! Thanks ! Been going to this location for a few years. Usually they are great. Today Ashley was so damn rude. I called to ask if something was in stock and she gave me a hard time. When I can in I asked why she was so rude on the phone. She had even more attitude and told me to call customer service. Thanks for the advice Ashley. You shouldn’t be working with people with that attitude.
