l've revised my review because after today, l won't be returning. I've consistently had poor experiences over the past year with the older woman who works here (not the owner or the Bosnian woman). Anyone who visits regularly will probably know who I'm referring to. Every time she serves me, my order ends up being a mess-either a pool of sauce, a soggy sandwich, or, like today, a container handed to me open with the food bulging out. Instead of cutting and packing the food properly like the other staff members du, she left it sticking out of the container, which caused sauce to spill all over my bag on the way back to my shop. Her attitude and customer service have been consistently unpleasant. I don’t usually complain, but at this point it seems she has some sort of issue with me despite the fact that I don’t even know her. Unfortunately, her level of service has made it clear that I don’t want my day ruined by her horrible attitude and lack of customer service and just being kind at the end of the day.
the food is ok but the customer service is so disrespectful it ruins anything this place offers. the desserts are such low quality - don’t bother - basically good for cheap pizza and bread. AND god forbid you asked for your order be packed in two containers b/ c you want to freeze - they charge for package, which is fine, but c’mon… you want to make a profit an extra sauce container. give me a break. your staff is grumpy, and penny pinching
We have lived in the Port Credit area for 35 years. We enjoy the bakery very much. Everything we buy is delicious without a doubt. The only downside of the bakery is the sad looking staff who don’t seem to want to be there.
Great Italian hot table and sandwich place. Their Lasagna was great tasting!! My friend had the chicken parm sandwich!! Just took a little extra time to order and get our food. I feel they should’ve had at least two more people to help with service. Other than that all good!!
Fresh great food for an affordable price therefore anytime I pass by Port Credit and I get hungry I only buy food from here. There are many times when I have to wait in a long line but it’s worth the wait.
Ladies working there have such a sour attitude. When they’re not being snippy with customers, they’re going at with the kitchen staff. Food is ordinary, very mild or no flavour at all and often lacks salt. Will not be returning.
This is truly a gem right on the edge of Lakeview and Port Credit. I have been going to La Villa since 1998 and even though I no longer live in the city, I will go out of my way for their bread, pizzas and pastries. They make fresh donuts and fritters on Saturdays, and 16” fancy flat breads (aka vegan/vegetarian pizzas). Definitely worth a visit when in the area.
