Good One but not that greatest wow... its Over hyped and over priced. A small gelato, so so taste for 9+$ Large assortment is there.... Didnt really understand how this is Mississauga's # 1 bakery.

I remember my childhood in the late 60's and early 70's getting cakes from here as a child and enjoying every bite ...the rum was great in the cakes that made it taste beautiful beyond belief ...still pretty good but needs more rum Great people too!!! Thanks La Sem!!!

This place was legendary, unfortunately I can’t say this is the case anymore. Last I was here I ordered a couple of espressos for my wife, my mother and I. The service and coffee were good, no complaints there. Where I have an issue is with the cookies and pastries and cakes. My mother bought 16 pastries, approximately, for that night. When we started eating them we each had the same complaint; they were stale. The tiramisu was most definitely old, the cake was dry and hard, and the cream had a peculiar flavour. Of all the others I sampled, the only one that was decent was the rum ball. Old cream, old pastry with all of them. It’s been a long time since we have ordered the cakes due to the same issue. We started noticing the sfoglia was always soggy and/or had a slightly rancid flavor indicating an old product. After experiencing this twice in a row we decided it was better to order elsewhere. For the price of the product I would expect the experience to be as it was some time ago. Unfortunately though, I feel that this may be their swan song.

Haven't stopped by in awhile. Use to be a favorite but we moved away from the area. Very disappointed. Overpriced for one small scoop of gelato compared to other Italian bakeries. It's definitely not the same. Old looking, needs some updating. Pasteries didn't look fresh. I do not think that it's Italian owned anymore. Not much outside seating. A few table and chairs on the walkway. Wouldn't return.

I ordered a carrot cake with a design for 25 people for my sons first birthday this weekend. The total was 140$ and for what I paid.. I do not think the cake was worth it. Half my guests had a couple bites and didn’t like it. There was huge chunks of walnuts or some sort of nut in it that was way too big. Not sure what happened, but definitely not worth the 140$. Disappointing.

Last Friday July 7,2023 My cake was delivered on time. All my guests really liked the cake, they asked where I got it from! Overall I am happy with product and service, I definitely recommend LaSem Bakery!

I spent over $70 for 2 1/2 dzs in pastries to bring to a party and more than half the pastries were stale. This was very embarrassing. If you're going to sell stale pastries, then lower the price and be transparent. I would not have bought them even if they were free. Charging me full price for stale pastries is robbery. I have always told my friends that La Sem was the best but after this experience, I will not go back. So very disappointing! Before you buy anything ask if it was made that day.
