I went to Master Mechanic due to an issue with the transmission on an older Honda Accord. These guys took the time and care to not only fix my car, but also charged a fair price AND lent me a vehicle to get to work while my car was in the shop. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. If you are apprehensive, just give it a try and give them a chance. You will not be disappointed.
I had a terrible experience here and strongly advise avoiding this shop. I went in because of a sign advertising “free brake checks,” which in hindsight was naive of me to trust. I left my car there for a day or two, and they came back with a $1,700 quote to change my brake pads and rotors. I literally got the same job done down the street for $700. When I declined the service, they told me I couldn’t take my car back unless they replaced my lug nuts because they were “swollen” and apparently unsafe to drive with. They charged me a pretty ridiculous amount for that too, and I didn’t really have a choice since they wouldn’t release my car otherwise. On top of that, they tried to convince me that practically everything on my car needed immediate repair, including my windshield wipers — which I had literally replaced one week earlier. Overall, just an absolutely horrible experience altogether. It was very clear that they don't actually care about you or your car, they are just trying to take advantage of you and screw you over in any way they can. I won’t ever return, and I really recommend staying far away from this place.
Received a super detailed report of what was recommended to service on my vehicle, easy to make an appointment, staff was very helpful to talk through the problems needing fixed and any questions I had about the service required.
Went for a full synthetic oil change, took a bit longer to get it done but I found out when I got a full review of my car, what is good, what is recommended and what is urgent and it wasn’t forced, just informed so I can decide,will definitely be going their for another oil change and getting brake fluid flushed which was contaminated and highly recommended to get done. Thanks for the Professionalism guys, very impressed.
Hi Wayne. I called there yesterday for a brake quote. I was told that if I emailed my VIN number, then I'll get a response. I haven't heard anything back via email or phone. Should I take my business elsewhere? It's a whole week later, and still no response is it because I'm a female. Anybody in their right mind should avoid this shop, they are a joke, and don't care about any new business. Please advise. Janet Sobczak
Came in for a safety inspection, car was sitting for 2 years. After the inspection Roger brought me to my car in the shop and explained the things that needed to be fixed in the simplest terms. Imran who worked on the repairs updated me on things every step of the way. I'm happy I avoided going to Honda or any other repair shop. Master mechanic ensures that you understand what needs to be repaired and genuinely cares about their customers. Without a doubt, I'll return for routine maintenance.
