Today, I visited Lorne Park Car Centre to replace the battery in my 2018 Audi A3. I had called the day before to confirm if an appointment was necessary, and since battery fitment was a concern, I decided to visit. I was assisted by John and the owner himself. While selecting the appropriate options for my order, I observed the owner working on a client’s vehicle. It was commendable to see him personally involved in the repairs. Lorne Park Car Centre prioritizes customer satisfaction and avoids upselling. I received the correct advice and choices. However, due to specific requirements, I had to exceed my budget slightly, but I was willing to invest a bit more for better longevity. They do not offer low-budget options, which is advantageous as they can cause more damage than to resolve the issue. They offer mid-premium range options but received a better price comparatively. We placed the order, made a deposit and scheduled the installation for the following day. Lorne Park Car Centre specializes in battery replacements, offering installation and proper encoding of the battery with the vehicle’s ÉCU module. They also specialize in German cars such as BMW, Audi and Mercedes. I can give them a solid 4.0 with room for improvements. I can recommend them for Audi as per my personal experience.

Roman is absolutely fantastic when he’s actually there to answer the phone. The other guy Dave (I think his name), 0 customer service skills, ignorant and condescending. Called politely to ask for a quote on a specific job and seemed annoyed I interrupted his day, was dismissive of what I had to say before abruptly hanging up. It’s funny when people have such inflated ego’s thinking they know it all and better than you. Working in trades, being humble goes a long way. I’ve worked on far more complex machinery, performing precision work to fine tolerances, some 2x or more the size of their building, as a licensed Millwright. Even then I know how to show humility and respect to everyone. You should learn to treat long time loyal customers who’ve spent thousands in repairs that pay your wage some respect. There’s tons of shops in the GTA, the customer service is key and what sets it apart to keep people coming back.
Started off great, but got worse with each visit. After my last visit, my car was given back to me with glaring safety issues and I no longer trust the work being done here. I mentioned the issues to them and didn't even receive an apology. Oh well, the silence says enough. And yes, I'm addressing the correct business here, Roman.
Hi. Left my w124 400e for timing chain job. The job itself was done right. But whoever was assembling the car had to be very messy guy. 1. Ignition cables were just dropped on the engine. Not layed properly. 2. Left mounting Brackett for plastic cover over distributor was MISSING. 3. Bracket for wiring harness on passenger valve cover was MISSING TOO. 4. Serpentine belt tensioner was loose. Somebody didnt know how to set it properly. And the worst that you never do to your client is installing URO lower radiator hose. Things like that just making me to not to go there anymore.
