Gus provided excellent service! He was incredibly friendly and offered fast, efficient service at a very reasonable price. I called him this morning hoping for same day availability, and he confirmed he could fit me in. Within two hours, I had dropped off my car, and Gus quickly diagnosed the issue, the tires need to be replaced. Overall, I’m impressed by his professionalism and quick turnaround. Highly recommend!
Rude and terrible customer service over the phone. Asked how much an oil change will cost and he replied with an annoyed and frustrated tone saying “I don’t know. You didn’t tell me anything about the car. Is it regular is it synthetic?”Instead he could’ve just asked “What car do you have?” But chose to be rude and condescending instead.
TLDR: Gus was very friendly and delivered fast service at a very reasonable price. Called a day ahead to make sure there would be some availability which he confirmed. When I showed up he came out to check out my issue (both brake lights out) and tested quickly to see if it was just bulbs or an electrical issue. Turns out it was just bulbs and he replaced them right in the parking lot himself and sent me on my way!
I have just had a horrible experience with Canadian Tire Agincourt when I was in Scarborough, so I decided to try out my neighborhood independent auto repair shop and what a difference. I arrived at 745am and Gus and his team arrived shortly after well before the 800am opening time. I couldn't leave the car for the day so Gus had 2 high skilled technicians work on my car and I was out in 1 hour. Best experience I have ever had at any auto shop. Quality technicians doing quality work at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend. We definitely need more shops like K.D. Auto service with Gus and his technicians compared to the crooks at Canadian Tire Agincourt. AAA+++
All these guys giving 5 star reviews are not helpfull as they don't compare KD price with the dealer or other mechanics. Most of them are going for simple jobs like tire fix etc.
Took my car in to get the service engine light off so i can renew my sticker. He made me spend over $ 500.00 and told me its all good to go. Asked him to do a tune up on the car, he did, and told me he had to replace Coolant bottle as it was leaking and water pump. By the time I took the car out he had charged me over $ 1500.00. Since I drove the car out of his shop, I had nothing but issues with my car, service engine came back on, smokes every time i speed up with the car, belt making noise, to find out he did nothing to fix my leak, and he put wrong spark plugs in the car, and did nothing to fix fix the service engine light . I will never use him again.
