Got my car done at this location this past week and I was very impressed with the service and work done to my car. Everything was completed quickly with updates every day which I appreciated. Everyone i encountered at this office was friendly and professional specially Taylor. She was incredible. Knowledgeable and patient answering all my questions and concerns. Do not go to this body shop. They repainted my vehicles front end after a collision and they did not do a good job. There was air bubbles on the paint and it is now starting to crack.
FIX AUTO - SHADY / ILLEGAL PRACTICES DO NOT GO THERE FOR INSURANCE CLAIMS / REPAIRS Fix Auto is involved in shady practices with TD Insurance. My vehicle was involved in a minor collision resulting in a minor damage to driver side front fender. The damage was so minor that I could have fixed it at home. As directed by TD, the car was dropped at Fix Auto. After 3-days TD declared the vehicle Salvage and offered extremely low value. I refused to accept the resolution. I was informed by the claims adjuster that once a vehicle is declared total loss, the vehicle is auctioned to TD registered dealers. I informed the claims adjuster that I would like to pick up and repair the vehicle myself. Initially TD claims adjuster refused and informed that the vehicle is now TD property. I informed the adjuster that I am the owner of the vehicle and I will be picking the vehicle even if I call the police. Today 7/24, I went to pick up the vehicle and I was threatened by Ronald Wright - the owner / Manager of Fix Auto that he would not allow the vehicle to be picked up. I called the police and during the call, he threatened the following: 1. I will do something to the vehicle that you will be stranded on the street. 2. My brother is a Peel Police Sergeant and I can throw you in Jail and each time you are on the street, the police will issue you a traffic violation and ticket. When I picked up the vehicle and arrived home, I found that Fix Auto has damaged the rear fender deliberately as instructed by TD Insurance. FIX AUTO has teamed up with TD Insurance and is involved in Shady / Illegal practices.
The staff at Fix it Auto are knowledgeable friendly and very much customer oriented. They made an unpleasant experience with our vehicle much easier to manage. Our Toyota was returned on time and looking brand new!! Thank you!!!
Update: I've worked with Taylor to fix these issues outlined below. I opted to deal directly with her because she's calm, humble and professional. I'm happy to report that they fixed all of the issues. She supervised everything herself and went above and beyond to ensure that the job was done properly. I have to say that the company is very lucky to have her on their team because she's actually willing to sit back and listen to the customer. I am happy with my car. It's finally where I need it to be. Thank you Taylor for doing a great job + for putting your clients first, especially in this case. They splattered paint on the left side of my car. Why? They weren't even working on that part. They were only to fix the back of my car. They left garbage, tools, measuring tape, work bag and an instrument that lifts the car in my trunk. They didn't detail the car as they promised.The receptionist is clueless. My trunk has a loose screw rattling within. Honestly, save yourself the time. Go elsewhere. Very unprofessional and a guarantee waste of time. No shuttle for customers, they expect you to wait an hour (goes over an hour)when they do the first assessment on your car. Referred by insurance.
I dropped off my Rav4 for body repairs following an accident. I was immensely impressed by the level of professionalism and integrity everybody showed especially Juliano, the manager. They made me feel so confident and comfortable , I forgot all my worries. They personally took the time to deal with the insurance to fix some issues and all the time I enjoyed the rental. I got assured they were putting in only genuine parts, even if it took a while. Every time they would contact me to give me updates. It was a totally satisfactory experience. Thank you FIX-AUTO.
DO NOT USE THIS SHOP! Careless work and horrible management. Not only are they rude but they lie about the work they do because they don't do it right. They had to repaint my girlfriends car 3 times before we got it back and now it needs to go to another shop in order for it to be fixed right. I do body work and pin pointed everything wrong with the car and the manager " Jules " said it was up to his standards after getting in my face and trying to start a physical fight.. the door that had damage looked worse then when we brought it there. Our insurance company had to fight with him to get him to re do it.. Second time around one of his guys messed up again and he told us it needed to be fixed again and painted for a 3rd time! Absolutely ridiculous! I go with my girlfriend to pick up the car and the door wasn't block sanded properly, bodyfiller/bondo still showing through the paint work where they had " fixed " it underneath. After getting it back and overlooking the car there were rust spots that weren't fixed and were clear coated over, fisheyes in the paint work, paint literally missing on edges of the hood, hardlines from where they masked the car up and blended the paint. A new crack in the Windshield that wasn't there before hand and the list goes on. I'll provide pictures so you can see the proof yourself. This shop is an absolute joke and I highly suggest you take your car elsewhere. And lastly the day my girlfriend went to drop off her car one of the employees tried asking her for her number and to " take her out when he was done work "... extremely disrespectful.
