I was excited to use the cruise professionals with Tully Luxury Travel. We were going on RCCL, which is apparently not one the cruise lines that they work closely with. Response time was good, but when I would ask a series of questions, they would answer some and not others. My aunt said that she repeatedly requested information, just to have it ignored. My cabin choice came with a cruise credit which they took credit for, and that was pretty much all of the perks of working with them. Others that I have worked with would send a bottle of champagne or extra credit, especially because we travel in a group. The documents that they sent me for the cruise were in black and white, so I had to go onto the cruise line's website to download the color ones, so I could get the correct color tags for our luggage. I just do not believe that it was worth the hassle of working with this group for what I received.
I was a long time client of Cruise Professionals, now Tully Travel, and although obviously not a big deal for them, since 2008, I believe I booked over 20 cruises with them. On my last contact with them, I requested a few quotations for upcoming cruises. Included with the quotations was the following narrative: - "For future proposals we will need to impose a non - refundable plan to go fee in order to respond with our offerings. The fee will be applied to the reservation, not in addition to". I could not believe that a long standing client could be treated in this fashion and didn't bother to reply to them. Never had a call back from them either. Obviously, they don't need the business from small customers?
