Never booked a vacation with AC because it's bad enough that I have to fly on their airline occasionally for business. An aspect of my company's travel that I will be requesting to change in the future. Terrible service. Absolutely no free food/drink offered on flight less than 6 hours. YYZ to LAX is a long 5 hour flight without food or beverage, and if you want to buy something prices are extortion. Many of the fleet have average or below average leg room and half the entertainment systems are straight out of the 90s. I have also had a delayed bag with this airline which took 4 days to receive (2 days longer than they told me it would take) and when I inquired about why the bag was late I couldn't get through to their hotline and my email was automatically replied to saying I wouldn't receive a response from anyone for 14 business days (that's nearly 3 weeks of waiting!!!) Absolutely horrible. Any airline is better than this. Disgrace to the country of Canada. I would give 0 stars if I could
Worst experience. We had a connecting flight from montreal to cancun and pur fliyht was delayed from toronto. We missed pur connecting flight due to the delay and lost an entire day from our vacation. When asked to be compensated they said they would only give 25% off our next flight. I would never again book with air canada. To add the cherry on top on our way back, we landed in montreal at 11 pm and had to wait until 6 pm to get on thd flight to toronto. They would not compensate for the hotel or flight or missing s day but the slightest change of plans on your end be prepared to fork over several hundred of dollars.
DO NOT book with Air Canada! First and last time ever booking with them. My trip was a nightmare from start to finish. I have tried reaching out to Air Canada for the last 14 weeks and still no reply. Worst customer service ! Take your hard earned money elsewhere.
Have been to the same resort in Punta Cana four times in the past two years. Our carriers were Air Transit, Sun Wing and last two visits Rouge.The problem isn't with the airline, we took off and landed safely - Thank Q .The problem is how do you rate service you didn't get PROBLEM #1 - The ACV rep didn't show up for the next day departure briefing on BOTH visits too Punta Cana. At any given time EVERY other tour operator was represented at guest services.When the hotel finally got hold of him by phone he gave my wife a wrong name. This baffled the hotel rep but we suspect it was to avoid trouble. We ended up booking two excursions with other tour operators. * It's important to have access to some representation for safe excursions and to avoid any departure mess ups. PROBLEM #2 - The hotel ( adult side ) was supposed to be renovated, it wasn't SURPRISE. First room killed a cockroach the second room AC failed. PROBLEM #3 - Readily available at the point of purchase, but contacting anybody for a concern not so. Even back home - NO REPRESENTATION
I guess I didn't learn from my mistake and trusted them again :(We booked a new vacation on a beach resort in Dominican Republic to find out the beach is full of seaweed for the past 3 month and it is unusable!!Why the F@#$ the agent didn't advise us?If we want to go to a pool we could have used our backyard pool.They really dont care but for the sale Shame big shame :(
