I had an absolutely amazing experience at Hand & Stone Spa on Lakeshore! From start to finish, the professionalism of the entire team truly stood out. The moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a warm, calming ambiance that set the tone for a perfect spa day. My husband and I enjoyed a heavenly couple’s deep tissue massage, and I can’t say enough about Latoya and Danielle. Their skill, attentiveness, and soothing presence made the experience unforgettable. They each created the perfect balance of relaxation and rejuvenation, and we left feeling completely renewed. Highly recommend this location for anyone seeking top-tier service, a beautiful atmosphere, and an exceptional massage experience. We’ll definitely be returning! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(Edit/update) DESPITE the business replying to my original post saying my membership was successfully canceled I have now been charged twice - would leave ZERO STARS if I could - will be reporting to BBB. ORIGINAL: I tried canceling my monthly membership because I’m moving and was told the information would be forwarded “to management” and they’d reach out. A week later no one has contacted me and my card was charged. When I called to ask for an escalation I was told there is no way to contact “management” and they’d reach out.
I had a couple of good experiences, but the last masssage was. The receptionist was very kind and she suggested to send an email. I sent the email to share my experience and no one replied. Definitely not going back.
WORST MASSAGE PLACE EVER!!! I have been to several different massage places of all different calibers and by far this is the worst one. They seem to be more preoccupied with the esthetics of their place more than the quality of service they deliver. I was given this as a birthday present and I had wished my husband saved his money.Firstly they ruined the surprise as they messaged me against his wishes, then they stuck me with a novice massuist who for a good 20.mins was just rubbing oil on my back and then when I told her through the phone translator to apply a bit more pressure she ended up applying so much pressure she bruised me on my shoulders. When my husband bought it back to management, they arranged for me to come in to ask me what happened. I took time to drive there after a long day of work just so they can tell me the bruise was gone. As if as a healthcare professional I dont know that after 4 days my bruise would have been gone by then. They also did some shady movements by having me sign paperwork to waive liability under false pretenses"saying I needed to sign this to see the RMT". Very distasteful establishment. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR GO BACK. This is a money grab my Husband also gave the massuist a tip to ensure I had the best massage and she fell short on many different counts.Not to mention when she burned me with the hot towel cleaning the oil off my back. Very dissatisfied save your money and go to a place that values their customers and the services they provide not just how the place looks.
I have gotten tons of massages… but never like this! VERONICA WAS BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL! she knows the human body to the point she shocked me! she described what I have done in the past (activities). In the morning I could not put my socks on, at the end of the session I could literally put my shoes on with so much ease! I am def going back.
Awesome Dermalogica facial! I have had "Dermalogica" facials in several different spa's before but this one actually did it right! Just because a spa uses Dermalogica products doesn't mean that do the signature facial correctly... I was SO happy to find a spa in Port Credit that did such a great job. Very happy with my services and will be coming back for sure! Side note: Book with Vivien she is WONDERFUL!
I love this place. A little bit pricey but its worth it. I always request for Jessica, shes great at her job and such a kind person.
Nice welcoming place! Me and my boyfriend went for the first time; Veronica and Jocelyn were so warm and welcoming and asked questions and very pleasant. Definitely will be going back again
Today was my first time ever going anywhere for a massage and I am very satisfied that I chose this location. I had a trigger point massage with Veronica. She was professional, made me feel very comfortable, and really helped with all my trigger points I had in my body. The setting was relaxing and sanitary. I will definitely be going back.
---I actually wanted to give this place a zero star, but this option is not enabled---Terrible customer experience. I booked an appointment on the phone but did not get an email confirmation (I asked for one but they said they don't send those out). On the day of my appointment I remembered the appointment wrong by 1/2 hr and called to see if I can still keep it. I was then told that I cannot keep the appointment and that I would be charged for 50% for cancellation. I explained that it was not a cancellation but rather that I remembered the appointment incorrectly (in any case I was okay with that) - I then suggested that they should email out confirmation to help customers get it into their calendars correctly; the staff then proceeded to tell me that they emailed it to me and I reminded them (turns out it is the same person) that they told me they don't send these out when I talked with them; then they changed their story to say that they only didn't send email notifications when they are booked within a few days of the appointment....makes no sense and this just seems like making excuses. In any case, this was already the second chance that I was giving this place to see if perhaps the service would improve - they claim that they are flexible, but clearly that is just talk and not action. This rating does not apply to the massage therapists, but it is to the reception staff and owner.
