I've been here twice now, and both visits were wonderful. Alejandra is amazing at what she does. The facial was not only effective but also so peaceful and relaxing. It truly felt like a moment of calm and self-care. I will definitely be back.
I just had a wonderful experience at this hand and stone location. I have been going here for years and the customer service has always been good but today was GREAT. A big thank you and shout out to Christiana, Alejandra, and Zeinab. These ladies are amazing. Book your facial ASAP! You won’t be disappointed.
I’m writing this as a customer, a previous member of this location, and the husband of someone who recently had an extremely upsetting and completely mishandled experience here. My wife posted her review a week ago describing what happened after a product containing her allergen was used on her during a facial. The “owner” replied publicly saying that “this situation does not reflect the level of care, professionalism, or communication we expect from our team… We are reviewing the details… We will be reaching out… to work toward a proper resolution.” It has now been a full week, and no one has contacted her. What’s even more concerning is that the supervisor and the staff explicitly told us that the decision to offer any additional corrective treatments will need to come directly from management/the owners. So the owner’s public response claiming they’re “reviewing the details” is strange, because they were the ones who made that decision in the first place. Their public statement doesn’t match what the staff communicated to us privately. When I personally asked the supervisor for an update, she told me she hasn’t heard anything from management about contacting my wife. This is the same supervisor who had been handling my wife’s case the entire time, so if any real investigation were happening, she would be the first to know. Instead, it’s clear nothing has been looked into at all. It looks like they are responding to reviews saying they’ll follow up to make it seem like they care and are taking action, but behind the scenes they are doing absolutely nothing. My wife and I were both paying members at this location, and even then, they showed no real willingness to take responsibility. The only thing the owners initially offered her was one complimentary LED session and refused to provide any additional sessions (which were recommended by their own staff). LED therapy is something that several independent estheticians in the GTA told us costs the spa essentially nothing to provide. It’s obvious Hand & Stone simply did not want to deal with the issue or offer any meaningful solution for my wife. Seeing how dismissive they were toward a situation this serious was extremely disappointing, and we will not be returning. If the owner responds to my review, my wife and I will provide an update here in a few weeks to let everyone know the real outcome.
Very Disappointing Experience!!! The staff was dismissive and lacked basic courtesy. The booking process was such a hassle that I decided not to proceed.
I have been coming here for a year now, and I have seen avery clear and big progress in my skin. Everyone has been complementing me on how my skin looks really better now compared to how it was before. I would reccomend this place to everyone!! Everyone here from the reception staff to the aestheticians have been very kind and helpful and always welcomes me with a smile. Special thanks to Zeinab Falahieh!! She has been my aesthetician and has been the best!!! She has always guided me on what products to choose and adviced me on how to improve my skin. Highly recommend her!!!
I loved the massage. I did want more pressure during the massage and kept telling my RMT, but he wasn’t able to keep a consistent pressure throughout. I didn’t tell him again after a few times and just decided to relax. It was a great experience nonetheless. I am going to try a different RMT the next time I go here.
I had an opportunity to have massage by Victor He was very friendly and well experienced. I really had benefited by that massage. I will definitely be returning to this location.
