Walked in to this store today morning at 12:45pm to pick up a tiger and santa claus parrot as this store was recommended to me by a friend for those two types of fish. Walked out of the store at 12:47pm.. The aged dude at the billing counter with specs - his attitude absolutely sucks, and i do not even know how he is still in business with such a mega poor and rude attitude.. I wouldn't get fish from this dude, even if they were all for free... If you only want to cater to certain types of customers from certain parts of the world, put up a board saying so, instead of displaying your grumpy and frowning face. I barely dish out bad reviews...and when I do - the service and attitude absolutely sucked!!! Does Google not allow zero stars?
⭐☆☆☆☆ Terrible Experience – Don’t Waste Your Time or Gas! I drove all the way from Peterborough after seeing this place on Google – BIG MISTAKE. The Chinese guy at the store (not sure if he’s the owner or just staff) was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked simple questions and he acted like I was wasting his time. No greeting, no help – just bad attitude from the second I walked in. The worst part? He was charging tax even for debit card payments, which is NOT supposed to happen. I told him, “If you’re charging HST, let me pay with my credit card then.” He flat out said “No” with a dirty look – very suspicious behavior.⚠️ While this shady billing was going on, his wife was changing water in the tanks and just staring at me the whole time – made me feel super uncomfortable. Like, why the weird stares instead of helping customers or cleaning properly? Speaking of cleaning – the smell inside the shop was HORRIBLE. It reeked of rotten fish, dirty water, and neglect. Some tanks had cloudy water, and I even saw a dead fish floating in one! Absolutely unacceptable conditions for any aquarium. This place gives off a sketchy and unhygienic vibe. Definitely not a place where you’d want to buy pets or supplies from. Bottom line: ? Horrible service ? Fish tanks are filthy ? Smells awful ? Shady billing practices ? Staff makes you feel uncomfortable Don’t believe the fake positive reviews. This was a total waste of my day and gas money. I’m honestly shocked this place is still running. ? I found the store owner to be very polite and sweet, I did not visit the aquarium but made an online order for a pair of Black lace Angelfish, the owner had them delivered to me at my door the following day, he brought me two healthy angelfishes. Thank you so much sir!
It was very good customer service and lots of support to choose from and I was very impressed with the quality of their products and best prices too, owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products and services highly recommended if you are interested in purchasing any aquarium and fish
Went to 5 different aquarium stores that day and this one had the cleanest tanks. Fish looked healthy and well taking care of. Great selection of fish and prices were fair! Introduced the fish to my tank and all seem to be doing great. Owner was friendly and helpful. Will be back in the future
An awesome place to visit with gorgeous displays to look at as well as healthy and interesting stock! This place also has some of the most stunning bettas, angelfish and freshwater rays I’ve ever seen in person. Unlike many stores that sell large fish, the tanks were large enough for the fish to swim comfortably. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful. 100% worth a visit!
The closing time on Google is 6pm and we went to the store at 5:20pm. The owner asked if we have anything specific to buy or he need to leave. Not polite and friendly at all, trying to kick customer out.
