The Comprehensive Eye Exam was well organized with every step carried out carefully and without any rush. From Objective and External Examination to Internal Eye Health Checks with retinal image and Visual Function, the staff here remained meticulous and precise. Dr. Joyce Wong is my optometrist. She treats her work with sincerity and dedication. Her professional examination, clear communication, and genuine care left a deep impression on me. During the exam, she gave me clear step-by-step guidance on what to do, which made the whole process easy to follow. After each test, she patiently explained what was being checked and how it related to my situation, which helped me understand my eye health better. When I asked about the difference between the eyedrop I had been using (Azelastine HCI) and the one she prescribed (Pataday), she was also able to explain it clearly. As soon as she realized I was struggling with some medical terms, she took the initiative to switch to Mandarin, which made me feel comfortable right away and allowed me to express my needs more clearly. When I came back for the second time, she still remembered the details that I had mentioned my dry eye and a phobia of using eye drops. The fact that she gently asked about my experience with them since the last visit made me feel she truly cared about me as a patient, concerns overall comfort and long-term eye health, not just numbers on a chart. This was my first Comprehensive Eye Exam, and it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Dr. Joyce Wong to anyone who wants not only accurate results but also a positive, reassuring experience.
I recently visited Erin Mills Eye Exam Clinic for an eye exam required for my public service career. Dr. Joyce Wong was outstanding, she is professional, patient, and has a very warm, approachable personality. She answered all my questions thoroughly and with great communication skills, which I find many doctors can sometimes overlook due to the volume of patients they see. Her encouraging manner made the entire process comfortable and easy. The only area that could use some improvement is the front desk reception, as the service there wasn’t as strong as the care I received from Dr. Wong. Overall, a highly positive experience thanks to Dr. Wong’s professionalism and patient-focused approach.
