The owner and staff at Studio X are our dance family. Studio X has taught my daughter more than how to dance. There she has learned perseverance, resilience and teamwork. She has gained confidence and has made life-long friendships. We are so grateful for the care and support she receives. I highly recommend this Studio. Studio X has been a part of both my daughters' lives for 19 years. It will be bittersweet to see our daughter graduate from the Studio this year. I highly recommend Studio X!
I am so grateful that I found Studio X. My daughter is a very shy, easily intimidated little girl and when she started, she was turning 3 in a month. Every drop off consisted of her having a meltdown because she didn’t want me to leave. Although heartbreaking, we kept consistent with the weekly classes and the Instructors always met her with compassion and love, which helped in her warming up. She has been there for a year and a half now and grabs her ballet shoes from my hand upon entry, and heads in to class. Ms. Courtney, Ms Jaylin, Ms Tamya, Ms Rachel and Ms Debbie- you are the truest role models that these young humans need. Thank you for being a voice of reason when the mamas in us got a little too emotional and nervous, but also for being tender with our little ones. The amount of growth that I see in my daughter in terms of her independence and comfort for dance class is the most heart warming feeling and my husband and I owe it to all of you. It makes me so happy to catch my daughter reciting her warm-up/stretching activity at home, and gives me that extra reassurance that she is dancing at the right place. Studio X offers opportunities for everyone to express their artistic individuality all the while helping boost confidence and assists in becoming stronger beings… I have truly seen it first hand. Stuck with you guys for the long haul. Thank you for being part of the village that all of us parents need?
Would not recommend this dance studio for recreational dancers. It seems like their focus is on their competitive dancers. There were scheduling issues and class time changes that were not communicated properly. The only time we received clear communication from this studio was when they wanted money.
Studio X is hands down the best studio out there! It has been our 2nd home for 6years and my daughter is going on her 4th year on the competitive team! The teachers are incredible, so talented, determined & encouraging. My daughter has developed in so many ways and we owe it all to Studio X. Job very well done, keep it up!
My two daughters love dancing at Studio X! Excellent teachers who are professional and focus on dance technique, warm and inviting atmosphere, and all of the staff especially owner Debbie are amazing both to the students but also always make time to say hello to parents and there’s an “open door policy” - Have any questions, just ask and Debbie and her team are happy to respond to everyone. As a former competitive dancer myself, it’s nice to see focus is more on getting dancers technique first, not on competition. As a dance mom, this is super important to me - can’t say enough good things about Studio X!
My girls have danced with Studio X for the past 6 years. They have developed into amazing dancers and have danced competitively with the studio for the past 3 years. I feel like Studio X has become part of our extended family. If your child loves dance, this is the studio for you.
I brought my son here for summer camp to try it out. He was very uncomfortable because it was only girls except for him. Debbie (owner) assured us that the September class will consist of only boys. Lo and behold, it's all girls (20-30 roughly) again and 2 other boys. This made my son feel worse and pretty much killed his desire and ambition to dance. He ended up missing at least half of the classes and we weren't even offered compensation or make up classes. In fact, the only time I heard from that place again was via email and they simply sent an invoice for the next term in January...yeah right, as if I would ever bring my son here again or recommend this place to anyone. Furthermore, no one really worked with him at his level. They just expected a new, inexperienced, 5-year-old to match and keep up with the pace I guess. Anyways, my final conclusion and recommendation is that if you have a son that you are thinking about enrolling in a dance class, this is not the place for him.
