I’ve been dancing at CSSOD for five years, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be the dancer or person I am today without Miss Liz and the amazing team here. From day one, I’ve felt supported, inspired, and challenged in the best ways possible. The teachers bring so much passion and creativity into every class, and they always know how to push us to be our best while keeping the love of dance alive. Being a full-time competitive dancer, I’ve grown so much not just in my technique and performance, but also in confidence, teamwork, and self-discipline. The studio has taught me what it means to work hard, believe in myself, and never give up. CSSOD isn’t just a dance studio it’s a family. My girls have been dancing with Center Stage for the last ten years and it’s been an absolutely incredible experience. From the very first class, it was clear that this is more than just a place to dance, it is a true community. The instructors are kind, caring, and genuinely invested in every student’s growth, both on and off the dance floor. Being a family run studio, it is personal, welcoming and supportive. My girls have not only learned so much, but they’ve also built wonderful friendships that I know will last for years.
Signing my daughter up for Centre Stage School of Dance (CSSOD) was a decision based on location and classes offered. Staying with this school was an easy choice. The classes offered are varied, giving students a myriad of options at several difficulty levels; from fun recreational classes to competitive groups and solo work, the students can try almost any style of dance they would like, from jazz and ballet to acro, musical theatre, and more. Liz and the other teachers have an amazing ability not only to engage a room full of kids at different overall levels, but to meet each student at their level and help them succeed and enjoy dance. Liz knows when to push her students, when to be kind and gentle, and when to give them some tough love. Liz has also fostered a supportive and inclusive environment, shutting down any negative or exclusionary behaviour. The bonds the students have between each other and between themselves and the teachers are evident. CSSOD is more than just a dance studio, it’s a second home.

I have been dancing at CSSOD for 15 years. The studio and teachers have not only guided me to find a love for dance, but have also taught me many valuable lessons that I will carry with me forever. The CSSOD community is where I found some of my closest friendships with my teammates and teachers during the competition season as well as summer camps. Although I’ve graduated, I will always come back to my second home <3
