AMAZINGGGG food, we got the oxtail & goat w/ rice, and the poutine. We ate so much and still had left overs, so they’re pretty generous with the portions. Also tried the pinapple pop, was really good and light!
We were driving by and decided to check it out. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the owner. He was very pleasant and friendly. We ordered our meals curry goat and chicken with fried rice. The goat was very hard had a hard time chewing it. The fried rice had all the ingredients but no flavor or taste and the chicken was dry. We did not enjoy the food at all and threw them oit. Because the owner and the lady at the desk was pleasant and friendly I gave service a 4 star.
Started working close to this place a few weeks ago and went in for the first time today.....not only was the owner friendly and receptive when I told him we needed a Caribbean food place in Milton (we only have a food truck which is also great) but this is honestly the best curried goat i have ever had ...portion is big ...price is great and food was outstanding. I hope.you do open a location in Milton theb I will have one close to work and at home.
I ordered a potato and channa roti for take out. The service was quick and the man behind the counter was friendly. I was disappointed when I took a bite and tasted sweetness. It turns out they put tamarind sauce in my roti. That was a waste of my money. Who puts tamarind sauce in roti?!? This is not a double. They sound ask if the customer would like tamarind sauce, although this is not normal for Guyanese people. I was very disappointed. I was looking forward to going back and trying their Dahl and bake and sal' fish, but I'm skeptical now after my experience. ... Just when I thought I had found an authentic Caribbean place in Brampton with real Caribbean cooks and not people pretending to be Caribbean cooking.
The food here is excellent! The doubles are the best I’ve had. Perfect spice level and very filling. The prices here are very fair and they are very quick. Best Caribbean/guyanese food I’ve tasted
We were in Mississauga and looking for a quick bite to eat. We found this hidden mom pop shop restaurant. We got jerk chicken and chicken curry roti. They were so good and flavour. Best rotis we’ve had in awhile!
Truly, such a gem. All their food is made fresh and you can’t beat it. The prices are reasonable and you won’t be disappointed. The owner and everyone who works there is unbelievably kind. If you come at lunch be prepared to wait a little bit but the 10-15 minutes is nothing compared to what you get!
