This was my first visit, and I opted for the goat curry with roti. The food was absolutely delightful. The mutton was tender and perfectly cooked—neither underdone nor overdone. The curry had a tangy flavor that I truly enjoyed, and the roti was freshly made, served hot and soft. I was pleasantly surprised that the entire meal cost less than $15. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Had the large oxtail and jerk chicken meals recently and loved it. The rice and peas so creamy and savoury. Always ask for oxtail gravy on the rice and jerk sauce on the chicken. The cole slaw provides the perfect balance of sweetness and crunch against the rest of the meal. It took a little more time than you’d expect for takeout but its fine. Its well worth the wait.

Went to one location to get soup they ran out, l went to the Meadowvale location and thank God I went there. It was the best soup I’ve ever had in a long time and Lovely customer service as well.
This restaurant located at Meadowvale Town Center is one of the best Jamaican restaurants I have been to in a long time. Their food is outstanding, well seasoned. Their fried chicken is cooked to perfection for me, nice and crispy on the outside and very tender and juicy on the inside; just delicious. Their soup is very good. I like my meat cooked so it falls off the bone and they mastered that. I don't normally eat oxtail but I tried their oxtail and enjoyed it, especially because they didn't use brown sugar to brown, it was done the old school style: respect to the chef, she does a wonderful job. I will try their complete menu, although I travel from Brampton, trust me, its worth the drive because the food is nice and the customer service is perfect! Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.
Got the fried chicken from here yesterday when I went to eat it the chicken was nasty and soggy no crunch no nothing and the bottle w the pepper sauce hasn’t been cleaned in so long that it’s gunked up and clogged at the top for nearly $17 I do expect better save your money and cook at home !!!!!!
Do not waste your time or your money ordering at this restaurant. This was my go to spot for years! I think the chef has changed now and the food was disgusting. The rice was hard and stale. The oxtail was disgusting and I only got pieces of fat. I went in early because they NEVER make enough steamed vegetables so I wanted to go early to make sure I could order that with my meal and the portion size of the steamed vegetables was a JOKE. They literally gave me half a teaspoon of vegetables for a whole meal that I ordered. I threw the food in the garbage and I will never ever be ordering from here ever again. I will also let all of my friends, family, and coworkers not to ever order from this restaurant because it is such a waste of money!
