I've been to The Alley in Richmond Hill and Markham several times before and they have always served the best bubble tea. This visit however, was very disappointing. I ordered a Deerioca Puff (as I normally do), and was given a cup full of mostly ice and hard, presumably old, tapioca. I will not be coming back to this location.
First time in this store, not so welcoming staff! Tried trio milk tea as suggested in the alley pick but it was not so bad, didn’t even taste like a tea! Just had to drink it because it’s $7..felt like wasted the money.
Front cashier did not make us feel welcomed. Came in for my usual bubble tea order with my friend today but the girl who took our order, had a switch up of attitude at us for no reason at all from other customers. Bubble tea was great 10/10, but there was a noticeable lack of training on customer service.
Drinks are always great! I just wish I could say the same for the Customer Service at this location. They let u stand around waiting and not even acknowledge you or greet you and inform you that you will be taken care of in a moment. Tim hortons does a better job compared to them. Either they're always having a bad day or they just don't like dealing with people. I've had a better experience at a different location unfortunately had to drive further but it's totally worth the great experience.
wanted to love this alley but sadly it doesn’t live to the standards of the other alley locations. the drinks are never consistent here and the workers aren’t that friendly or helpful, unfortunately. hopefully they can fix this!
The bubbles were so hard, my throat started hurting from even swallowing them. The bubbles were also so bland. Only drank half of it, threw the rest out. Ordered the Royal No9 with bubbles. After not having the Alley for a couple years since I've been to markham, I thought to have given them another try in Erin Mills. This was a sad experience
Beautiful bobba spot, lots of flavours, and friendly staff. Two stars off because the only dairy options are milk or soy so it's not customer friendly to those with allergies. Other spots offer coconut milk at least. Soy isn't a good option considering people who have a dairy allergy also have a soy allergy.
