Came across their site when I searched for bike repairs and thought to take a chance and they didn’t disappoint. Brenda was very nice when I called in for the issue late afternoon. Went today and David immediately worked on it very quickly. He check everything even though my only real concern was the tire. He was true to the adage to not fix what is not broken. Prices are very reasonable too! Highly recommended for anyone needing a repair or buy bike items!
I cannot say enough nice things about this business and the owners. Every single time that I've brought my bicycle in, I've been provided with excellent service and advice. I have brought in my friends' bikes and had them come in to see just how nice this business treats their customers, regardless of what brand or the value of their bicycle is. Service is provided, advice is given, and prices are fair.
Dave is a quiet person but really good at what he does, very thorough and honest with his work. I have an old city bike with lots of issues here and there and it was practically falling apart (the other day, the fender ripped off). Was looking for a repair shop and saw this bike repair store which was very close to my place. Took it to Dave's shop and he resolved almost all of the issues + tune up for a very reasonable price. This shop is a gem for the Lisgar neighbourhood. I'm surprised there wasn't a line up outside his shop to get bicycles fixed or tuned up. I'm coming here for all my future bicycle maintenance needs. Note: make sure you call and make an appointment. Be ready to drop your bicycle off, as he'll call you when work is done and ready for pick up. It's not one of those wait-while-it's-being-fixed type of store.
My family and I have been taking our bicycles in for maintenance here for the past three years and we are extremely happy with the level of courtesy and service here. Things are explained, options are given and all bikes are treated with the same amount of respect regardless of brand or condition.
