I recently had an issue with my washing machine, where it stopped draining properly due to a problem with the motor of the drain pump. Technician Jo came out to take a look, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service. Jo quickly diagnosed the issue and explained everything clearly, including what had gone wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. They had the right tools and parts on hand, and the repair was done efficiently and professionally.
I called them when our fridge stopped working. The gentlemen came to diagnose the same day, we paid for the visit. Then we paid for the parts and repair, the same day (hence 2 stars). It seems OK but in a week the fridge stopped working again. The gentlemen didn't respond to my text or calls. We ended buying a new fridge, it turned out to be 1.5 more expensive with the cost of the repairs. should have done it from the beginning, after the first diagnostic visit.
Ordered a part for us for our washing machine even thought it came in as the wrong part, he found another on that worked and fixed out washing machine.
I really appreciate John. He is very professional on time to fix that problem right away and reasonable prices. I really recommend Jean for any Appliances needs.
John charges me $370 for a $40 part that I saw on Amazon and maybe 30 minutes of work. I question all of the other reviews that I see on here. For less than double what I paid John, I could have gotten a new dryer. Plus he told me there's a 90 day warranty.
This is just my anecdotal experience, I put in a service request to diagnose two non-functioning appliances at my rental property - washer and refrigerator; The washer wouldn't start and the refrigerator was leaking. I was assigned a service person Ehab, My interaction with him was strictly over the phone as he went on-site by himself to inspect the appliances: Below was my experience: - To this day I never got a clear understanding of the problem, maybe b/c of the language barrier or maybe it was over the phone I came out of this exp more confused than going in. Ideally, it would have been good to get a brief write up of the diagnosis at the conclusion of the site visit. - the diagnosis fee was supposed to be $80 (already very pricy) for each appliance but I ended up being charged $90 for the washer diagnosis since it was stacked, well that could have been explained upfront. - when I was told I should probably buy a new washer. I really had to push to get an understanding for what model of washer to buy as a replacement as the existing washer model had been discontinued, but the washer and dryer were purchased as a set and stacked, and dryer is still functioning. In the end the diagnosis was neither appliance could be fixed because none of the parts were available or had an unreasonable lead time (seems like this is something they would know going in since I was required to provide the model beforehand). So now I'm on the hook for $192.10 nothing could be fixed in a reasonable amount of time / I'm still confused, plus the cost of new appliances. While I acknowledge the appliances were old and probably needed to be replaced, I feel the diagnosis and explanation by the service person could be made a lot clearer and less rushed as I was left just as confused as before with no value-add garnered form this service call. Personally, I won't be using them again.
