Just had Mike and his team complete an exterior wall waterproofing with foundation repair to solve a wet basement issue that we noticed post winter thaw.. Both Mike and his team are extremely professional, knowledgeable and based on my experience I would absolutely recommend them to do work for you if you have a water/moisture issue in your home! I had 2 of my 4 walls completed and barring any issues over the winter I will have them back to do the other walls in the spring!
While completing a small reno project in the basement, we identified a leak. After calling a few waterproofing companies, we decided to work with Edgar and team for three specific reasons. 1. Basement Leak (Walkway Facing Wall) & Exterior Waterproofing (October 2023) I experienced a crack and subsequent leak in my basement foundation walls over the summer in October 2023. After calling two other well-known waterproofing companies in Toronto to obtain quotations to have exterior waterproofing completed on the leaking wall, I decided to go with Waterproofing PD based on my positive interaction with Edgar, one of the company's owners. Edgar's vast experience in waterproofing is evident as he thoroughly explained the entire scope of work to me as well as the timeline to complete the work. The team of workers from Waterproofing PD showed up to my house everyday on time and worked extremely hard to get the job done within the prescribed timeframe, while ensuring my backyard and landscaping was adaquately protected. Basement Leak (Deck Side Wall) & Exterior Waterproofing (October 2024) In the summer of 2024 during the major rainfall event and subsequent flooding in the city of Toronto, my basement experienced another leak from the house foundation wall below my backyard deck. This wall had not been waterproofed during the 2023 exterior waterproofing work completed by Waterproofing PD as no water leakage was detected from this wall during that time. Vlad from Waterproofing PD came to my residence immediately that week to provide me with a quotation which was detailed and competitive compared to other waterproofing companies I had contacted in the past. I was hesitant with how invasive the work would be, which included the removal of several deck boards and an old window and window well underneath the landscaped area. I was re-assured by Vlad that his crew had the knowledge and experience to complete the work with minimal intrusion and damage to my deck and they would be able to restore the deck to the existing condition. I proceeded with Waterproofing PD to waterproof the exterior of my foundation wall underneath my deck and remove the old window and window well not in use. Andre and his crew from Waterproofing PD came to our house promptly on-time and was able to get the work done in 1-day with great skill and tidiness.
