Ordered in stock booster box on sept 17. Got cancelled today oct 6th and the prices have gone up.
I am not local and am staying in Mississauga for the weekend. I had a couple Digimon decks on my person. I looked up on the Bandai TCG+ app to see if there were any events near me and this store was listed as having an event at 7pm on Friday night. I went to the stores website to confirm and Digimon is still listed at 7pm on their events calendar for every Friday night. One step further, the banner on their Facebook page also explains that this is the time in which this event takes place on a Friday. When I arrive, the staff member at the counter doesn't know what I'm talking about, tells me that this event has been moved to a different day of the week, and says that it was "posted on the Discord". I explained that I am not local and have never visited or played at this store so I would have no access to that information, but every single other piece of media that I've read says otherwise. Update all of your social media pages, and events calenders to ensure that all players know exactly when your events actually take place.
Placed an order a little while ago. Ended up having issues with the delivery, but Matt at Red Riot Games got it all sorted out. Incredible service, highly recommend.
Great store. Amazing prices for singles. I like their new location more. Feels like the card stores I used to go-to when I was a little kid. Brings back happy memories. Super nice owner.
Got to meet the owner the day before their huge union area tournament. Store was nice staff friendly. Tournament the next day was amazing. We'll definitely be back if we can. Also the custom mats and sleeves are amazing!
Brought in some Pokémon cards today as I’m looking to trade or sell. This is also my first time at the shop, as the guy is going through my cards he was mixing them all up and I asked him nicely to keep in order. As he was going through them he made a pile and didn’t say he was interested or not and I put back into my original pile, then he gives me attitude about me mixing up the cards he wanted when I’m the customer and asked him originally to not mix up my cards, he was very rude and had attitude for no reason, SMELLED LIKE CIGARETTES AND WAS NOT FRIENDLY WHAT SO EVER AS MT FIRST TIME HERE, I DONT THINK I WOULD EVER COME BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE, EVEN IF YOURE IN THE AREA, SELECTION IS VERY SMALL AND STAFF ARE NOT FRIENDLY!! 0/5 ⭐️
Would not recommend pre ordering from this facility. I pre ordered a One Piece 25th Edition Playmat and Card case set last year. Few months pass by, at that point most of the other game shops received their shipment of the playmat and had it up for sale but mine was never delivered. I checked their website and saw that the exact item I ordered on Red Riot's website was "in stock". I called in to inquire and they later said that their website is not accurate and the item is still sold out. Why were there items listed on their website for sale before the pre orders were fulfilled/ delivered? I checked back few weeks later and saw the mat was eventually listed as out of stock on their website. When you call in they will always tell you that theyll take down your information and have the store manager call you later, but never actually call back. At this point, I've tried calling at least 4 to 5 times about my pre order and they would never follow up with getting back to me. They have also ignored my past emails with no response from them either. I still never got my money back on my refund request of an unfulfilled order and it's been almost 1.5 years at this point.
